Take all the details from this site so that you have them to hand when you contact Trading Standards. I'm sorry you didn't see this site before placing your order. I would say to keep visiting this site and warn other people not to buy from them and then hopefully they'll get the message and stop ripping people off.

I think you'll find I was swearing yes, but I was not swearing AT you! I apologise if it came across as being rude towards you.

Anyway, as promised here is an update - I am no longer going ahead with the purchase. This is partly due to lack of communication from David and also the fact I am concentrating on my telecoms business.

Well David must be a complete idiot, or perhaps you were for wanting to buy out such a rubbish company. I think it would take quite sometime to build up goodwill and you are probably better off without it.
This company shouldn't be trading because of the way they treat their customers and now obviously prospective buyers!!!!

You're right - the only reason I was seriously considering it was because of the number of hits the site is receiving through natural search rankings. With no advertising it is currently turning over around £720 to £800 a day, about 50% of which is profit and receiving 12,000 visitors a month.

I just hope that the new owner (as I believe David is still selling it) does a better job of managing the company!

Anyway, I'm setting up a telecoms company that provides international calls at wholesale call rates (ie 1p a minute) from the UK. It will make a lot less money than bestbuymenswear but it should be 'a laugh' along the way!!!

With regards to bestbuy - I would advise trying to contact them in a week or so if you have outstanding issues, as there will almost certainly be a new owner by then who (hopefully) will want to sort any concerns out quite quickly.

Hmmm yes it might have come accross that way. I didn't mean to promote the business though, althogh I suppose telling you things would get better was promoting it? Anyway, it's no longer anything to do with me - things will hopefully change with the new owner (apparently the site is undergoing maintenance at the moment) but whether it will be for the better, your guess is as good as mine!

I will get back in my hole now.

OMG I cant believe what I have just read on the last two pages, I also ordered from besbuymenswear, they sent a pair of white Gucci shoes instead of black, I have returned them but have not received my £103 back.

Why are trading standards not doing anything to shut these people down.

Neither can i!! I bought an "Armani Shirt" last week from bestbuymenswear and it is one of the worst FAKE items i have been unfortunate enough to come across!! You can even see where the old label has been removed and replaced with a dodgy Giorgio Armani one!! I have emailed several times for a returns address and not had a reply. I have been in touch with Trading Standards who have advised me to send a formal letter stating Sale of Goods Act etc etc.. Does anyone know the returns address?
