  • I have again been on the phone about this company and as I suspected what the company are saying about being in touch with Trading Standards is a load of twaddle. Trading standards are going to be contacted about my complaint but have advised that I wait until the seven days are up from when I sent my letter.
I've also found another address which is
    Unit 9 South Road
    Templefields, Harlow, Essex CM20 2AR.
I hope this is of help to anyone who has had dealings with this company
  • I have received an e-mail this afternoon saying that a cheque will be sent off to me on Monday. I will wait to see if it arrives and if it will be honoured.
My tactics seemed to have worked, maybe this was after they had received my recorded delivery letter.
If anyone else would like to try this, first of all send them an e-mail and then the same letter by recorded delivery. This is what Trading Standards told me to put -" I would like to inform you that your terms are not acceptable. It is quite clearly stated on your website that refunds are given within seven days.
If I do not receive a full refund within the next seven days I will have no choice but to report you to Trading Standards"

I am so glad that I came on this site because without it I would not have found out the address, thank you so much.
    Good luck :j

Hope i get the same email from them saying i will get an immediate refund,as the last one i got said i would need to wait till end of Jan 2008.Emailed them back to say i wanted it back now and was not prepared to wait.Went to my bank and have an app for next week. They also advised that i report it to trading standards.Which i will do.
  • Needless to say no refund has arrived. The cheque which I was promised has failed to materialise, which is really no surprise. I am now looking at taking legal action, I just find it so annoying that they are still trading and taking orders and cash, it's not right.
  • Well what can I say, I placed a order a couple of weeks ago and not a dickie from them despite trying to contact them!!

I placed an order for over £300 and am still hopefull of recieving, however after reading this I dont hold out much hope!!!

Has anyone ever recieved an order from these guys, surely if the goods dont actually exist this is fraud?
  • Sorry to hear you're having the same problems. I would send them an e-mail asking what has happened to your order and see what they reply. If they are still blaming financial problems then contact Consumer Direct - 08454 04 05 06. They will give you advice on what to do next. If you paid through google checkout I would also inform them of this problem.
My latest is that Trading Standards contacted the company on my behalf saying they had received a complaint, they replied back that they were in the process of sending out cheques (three times they've promised me a cheque). Trading Standards have now asked for the cheque to be sent to them and then if they receive it they will forward it on to me. Apparently their original problems concerned a cashback amounting to £2000 but if a company doesn't have this much working capital then they are in trouble but I feel so strongly that they are still taking our cash with no intention of supplying the goods , they are in breach of so many laws. I now have quite a thick file of all correspondence with them so my advice is keep copies of all e-mails etc, so you have all the information to hand
Complain to as many people as possible and just maybe something will be done about this company.
    Good luck
  • Have just heard back from Trading Standards and they are very surprised that no cheque has arrived yet and they feel this company is just using delaying tactics. They are now giving them until Wednesday to receive the cheque and then Trading Standards will assist me to take legal action against this company. If anyone else is in the same situation please take action as quickly as possible as this company is just continuing to rip people off.

  • Well I emailed bestbuy the same time as my last post on here, they replied within a few hours and said my order will be here this week as in w/c 11/2, I suppose its only monday so will give them until the end of the week, how have other people got on?
  • After waiting for approximately 11weeks I have finally received my refund. I feel that this was only achieved after the intervention of Trading Standards and after some delay the cheque was finally sent to them. The whole process of getting this refund has taken so long and was very time consuming but I wasn't going to give up. My personal feelings are that this company shouldn't be trading and they should be avoided at all costs. A company that can't afford to refund £95 must have serious financial problems and they should never have accepted the order in the first place.
I wish everyone good luck in either receiving their goods or getting refunds but if there are any problems contact Consumer Advice, they will help.
