  • The laser printer I have at work flashes a light at me to tell me to replace the toner. I have ignored this light for a year now, with no problems.
So don't replace until you have to.

Hi all, I am interested in getting the CANON PIXMA MP210 all-in-one, but where do you get the "cheaper" ink cartridges from? I can't find them anywhere. Also would this be compatible with Windows 98? If not compatible which one can I get?
Yes, before anyone says, Windows 98 is STILL around !! No pennies for an upgrade.
No the MP 210 does not work with windows 98 or 98SE. I found out today from Canon so have just been to Argos and bought an MP 460 instead which I'm told does. At £39.99 it has higher resolution scanning and works with pict-bridge and camera memory cards and has a small display screen for photo editing etc. Same pricey ink cartridges though still cheaper than Olivetti. Cheapest replacements I have seen so far are from Rubber Frog at £11.49 for black (PG40) and £13.45 (CL41) colour. If anyone knows cheaper please let me know.

Thanks Mungobeans. The one you have bought sounds good so I think I may go for the MP 460 as well. Its pity that the inks are so expensive.
