Morning all xx

My bed is made and first brew has been supped. 

Feeling a bit ropey this morning but it could be psychosomatic as 5 days ago I sat in a crowded church with no-one wearing masks or social distancing. And this county has one of the highest infection rates. Que sera sera.

Second brew needed before I do anything else. Got all the washing dry outside yesterday,  it's on the airer in front of the radiator in the hall. Heating isn't on at the moment but it was last night. I spent the afternoon watching the horse racing and reading magazines- which were then put in the recycling box....so that counts as decluttering yeah?

I'm waiting in for Captain Jack Sparrow to arrive at some point today...well, his outfit not JD. DS's Halloween costume this year ☠.  They're away for the weekend so it's coming here.

Hi all

Such a lovely day yesterday, proud and slightly nervous Mum moments watching DS1 lead his horses up at the races, and quality time spent with DS2 and DH.  It was a much needed treat after all the worries with DH and his back.

I have to work this afternoon for a bit which I am not very enthusiastic about.  Flying is not going to happen much here and next week is a full on week at the paid stuff, but I will take it one day at a time.

I just refound the old lemon curd/marmalade cake recie so I will print that out for Squeak to cook this week. OH is off on Tuesday so that ill have them busy.

I need to boss OH to do his learning as well now, he has a few bits to get done this week. He has the bus driver drug test on tuesday morning and the interview/written test/medical on Friday at 8am

Mad busy yesterday. Dot better at swimming but I walked the pool width the entire lesson keeping her occupied at each end .. counting in French, reciting the alphabet backwards.. usual weird stuff. Dropped girls at DiL's and went to 1celand which is inside The r@nge.. the queue was about 70 people long with 2 tills on.. then a panicked message went over the system.. 'can all till trained personal come to the tills immediately!' food bought for the week with my christmas savings, a few christmas bits bought and 2 unicorns for my tree.
