mince and mash tonight for us.. which means pasta sausages/dipper for the girls and boog.
I got a text at 9:15 last night saying the cooker engineer is coming this morning from 8am-6pm.. and my phone was ringing at 8:10... hnestly, I am so fed up. My migraine is STILL lingering.. day 6 BUT I did finally get a call from the GP (technically, I rang them) and I got the hospital referral resent for bloods, the meds increased and finally after 2 years of asking she gave me migraine meds. I am very relieved! I am going to rattle!!
I have cleared and wiped over the hob and front of oven.
OH is bringing milk back from the school run and can load the dw (I can't bend over to do it, I feel like my head is going to roll off) He can then empty and change the litter in the cat trays. I will go make him a coffee now, he usually makes the first cuppa but I can do that and can't do the other things.
His new coat is having its first outing :smile XXL to fit his arms and chest in but it is huge across his tummy.. the XL was tight though
Flicked the WM on so I will get most of that hung out (on airers not outside in the rain) and get the next couple of loads ready to go.
Blue bins just being emptied *fling* room to put more stuff outincluding the large box which has been a source of fun and joy for over a week but is now lying dead on the floor in the front room.
Cuppa and then I can start on emails and phone calls.

2 loads of washing out, 2 loads of washing in and the TD on with all the tiny things.. have I mentioned I hate socks?
Squeak on her Book Club class.
OH is on about trekking to the gym so I may trot to post office with these parcels and letter1 being Squeak application for school.Chemist for all the medication in the world.. assuming of course the cooker engineer makes an appearance sooner rather than later.. he will come about 2:45 so OH has to do the school run by himself and I don't get anything done you watch!!Cuppa first and then clothes followed by emails and phone calls.

I am taking a quick break from Flying to catch my breath and rest my knees, having just walked up- and downstairs about 10 times to load all the scrapstore stuff into my car, ready to deliver later
I have also moved some boxes around in the eaves loft, so that the Christmas stuff is easily accessible.
I need to think about tonight's tea (maybe still just in time to use the SC, if I defrost meat thoroughly first?), fly through downstairs, hoover upstairs, get lunch, and make scones for my friend who is coming this afternoon.
And I need to compose a text to the parents of the little boy in hospital. Sadly, the news from pathology is not good
Keep safe and well, Flyfriends. See you later xxx9 -
Iona.. I regularly fling fully frozen meat in the SC and just give it a swish once it has defrosted to ensure it cooks properly. Chicken, gammon, pork.. it all goes in frozen.. super lazy! I just put it in half an hour earlier. So sorry to hear the news for the little one is not what anyone wanted to hear. I will be thinking of him and sending healing, painfree vibes and love for his parents too.. Utterly devastating news xx
I have money to transfer to OH for Dots bike and the next main christmas present to buy. December is going to be 'stocking filler month' .. I did all those in one go last year.. went to BnM and got everything.. sweets, smellies, socks, everything... I don't pay the mortgage in December so I can do a busy christmas.. I do make up the payment throughout the year so I am not in arrears!Off to hang out more washingLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -

It has been another fortnight of trouble with DS2, the care home may be closing.

Raining here, so indoors for now, been watching the 2 buzzards soaring on the wind.Spent a very boring morning search house insurance, having had my renewal in, (what how much, ) read all T&C's etc, done comparison sites etc, any way saved just under £100 for this year, so well pleased. Just going to ring the old insurer and tell them it is running out and I won't be renewing. Down loaded and save relevant doc.Daily stuff doneIroning doneBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles
