Made some progress this morning:

- order meds
- dust and hoover upstairs - but I have made my bed and tidied round
- fill in a form for the far more cooperative bank, to get £50 each for myself and a friend  and they paid each of us within the hour.  Now, if only the Horribly Silly bank could follow that example and get their act together .... still haven't received the email I was promised within the hour at 08:30!
- do some admin letters etc - part done
- drive across town to get another signatory's scrawl on a cheque
- post urgent letters 
- food shopping
- hopefully have time to deliver to the scrapstore - it will be was good to leave this house after 48 hours of imprisonment (because of the bank problems and waiting for callback)
- ditto to clear out and re-plant the patio pots
- ditto to bring in the last few tomatoes to ripen indoors
- Rosie's walk

In my absence DH has cooked and eaten a jacket potato with beans and cheese (as instructed) and taken himself orf to the war games shop

Kaz, I meant to say earlier that I'm glad your OH feels well enough to drive, and I hope he got home safely x

My potato has just dinged.

Hi all

Tired tonight.  Up early, gym class done, working from home, one load of washing out on the line.  DS1 called because he wanted me to check his car insurance renewal so we had a cuppa together.  He has collected his winter thermals from his wardrobe and headed off, nice to see him happy.

Kitchen and bathroom swished and swiped, some clean washing to put away.  Oh and I managed to go for a little walk in my lunch break which I was pleased with.

Hope the spud was nice Iona.

The email with the activation code finally landed at 4.30, but I waited until after Rosie's walk and our meal before trying to register.  It only took about 5 goes   There was a 10-minute time limit, but I am too slow!   Anyway, I persevered and eventually succeeded, and have since logged on to the account without any difficulty.  Such a relief!  

I managed all of my list for today except the hoovering and the patio pots, but I'll do them tomorrow.  I wanted to take my Cypriot friend out for lunch, but she needs at least a day's notice, so that will have to wait until next week.

asb has asked me to say hi to everyone from her. 

Rosie is snoring already, and I'm hoping I shall sleep soundly tonight too, but Fayolle mentioned bourbon creams for the WAC, and they're my absolute favourite biscuit, so I might pop in anyway

Tomorrow HE stuff sorted.

OH is picking up lateral flow tests from chemist in the morning.. he is hacking and barking and snotting everywhere and bounced his dinner.. I do not need this hassle.. it's all ridiculous and pretty pointless now anyway.. like trying to hide from oxygen! having read the info I would have to isolate but the girls could go to school... me who never goes anywhere or sees anyone and the girls who mix with 100 other children on a daily basis.. just wow...

Morning all, oops I seemed to have missed a few days.  Long day at work yesterday then long chat to boss to confirm I am definitely not carrying on next year, a huge relief.  I love the teaching but the admin is getting worse and worse and I have other projects for next year that are going to take a lot of time and effort

Today is admin, admin and more admin as too many frogs on the desk that risk turning into big horrible toads.

Morning I’m trying to be more positive today. I had a lovely challenging tap lesson last night which did me good.

Have sorted the airing cupboard out. Washed the bread box and cupboard. Thrown out of date cereals. May tackle fridge next. Slowly slowly catches monkey

Whirlwhind morning. OH signed up to a personal trainer course.. let's see if these actually deliver, he was supposed to do this 4 years ago and the company never got their act together to deliver the actual training.. He has an interview for bus driver training next week but it would be very much a part time basis because he has to do the training and the usual Saturday uns and hopefully Thursday orchestra/cello.

I have yet another headache..

Good afternoon 
I am getting a bit fed up of being coughed on! 🤢🤬 I have a 3 Yr old that is busy playing, then walks across the room to me, coughs and then walks away again! 🤦‍♀️ I don't know how many times and ways I can say "don't cough on me!" 🤣 Roll on 2:30! They are eating lunch and then we will go for a walk. She can go in the buggy and have a nap, so at least that will be an hour cough-free!! 
Flying has been minimal. I am still trying to return all of our bedroom stuff to its correct place. DH has filled 3 CS bags, and I have filled 1. They are in the back of my car & I am hoping he gets rid of them later. He hasn't been at work all week, but is next to useless because he has man-flu! He has tested negative for cv, but positive for hypochondria! (have I mentioned that I would make a terrible nurse!! 🤣)

DW emptied, dog walked. I have vac'd a pile of crumbs up from snack time. My LR & DR have conkers & dead leaves strewn all over them. I will sort that later - they are being played with for the time being!
