Oh Dancemum thats the last thing you need x
Good day here. Not a bad morning at work then came home because I was on "letting the dog out into the garden" duties. Worked from home this aft. Have run the hoover around and swished a few grubby looking surfaces. Changed our bed and one load of washing is still out (think I might leave it out now).
DH is having a roast dinner with lamb leg steaks. I had squash and butterbean casserole which I have eaten a lot of lately and am bored with. Need to find another veg casserole recipe that I like.
Volunteering meeting soon (which I think could be the last one as the project is coming to an end). Then feet up.10 -
Evening all, just wanted to say hi. Not feeling great at all, both mentally and physically. Please don’t worry if I disappear from the thread for a while,
everything is just too much at the moment XX

ASB, my lovely, have a huge hug. Pm is always open if that helps you to feel less alone / overwhelmed. I’m sure that all the flyladies are here for you. Stay with us xx
Dancemum ((hugs)). That is not the news that you needed for you and for DS xx
Ionafan - devastating, terrible. You will find the right words, I know, because you always have done for me when I needed them xx
For the sake of keeping to the rules - spinach and ricotta pie cooked for dinner, cake baked and gooseberry pie made too to fill the oven up. Pack up sorted, veggie curry prepped for the sc tomorrow. Kitchen tidied.9 -
ASB .. my inbox is there if you need it.. you know we will worry if you disappear.. but only because we care. You don't have to fly (just pretend!) If you need a person feel free to hop on a train.. I LOVE trains!
OH has broken the cat by NOT looking at her! Her legs are on the top and everything!
Pack ups done, Dot washed with LOTS of screeching and howling and running around the house.. she chews her hair and it was crispy and gross. Twinkle peeled off half her toenail because she's a muppet.. She is constantly picking of nails, I have no idea what is wrong with her but it is costing me a fortune in plasters!
Lessons sorted for tomorrow
Early night for us. Custard creams in the tin for the WAC

Morning xx
H's funeral today 💔. And after telling me that I don't have to book Annual Leave but I can take time off to attend and make it up, suddenly, at 4.30 pm yesterday, the powers that be realised that would leave them with no-one in the office at all ...... and I dug my heels in. I'm going. I'm also allowing adequate time for travel and parking seeing as I haven't mastered the art of teleporting! More stress.
I've made my bed and packed my lunch. Birds will be fed on my way out.
Now where is my black coat....do you think it's on the coat stand?
Love to all

Trying to organise some help for Squeaks anxiety.. CAMHS won't take her because she isn't self harming or hurting other or suffering from eating disorders.. she does however have selective mutism and is worrying about people being ill or dying or herself getting lost and in irrational moments worrying about being eaten by dinosaurs and alien abduction.. however, the only place I have found is charging £45 a session and we have to self fund the first 5-6 sessions.. it may have to wait until after christmas! She is doing better being Home Educated but I want a prevention rather than cure, to help her find ways to handle the anxiety before she is old enough to resort to more destructive coping mechanisms such as alcohol, drugs and dangerous behaviours. I see OH's sister and his mother and it worries me. Why do these places (Such as CAMHS) not see how early intervention is better than fire fighting for the rest of her life?and...bed stripped2x WM's to go onTD to go on
DW to load
Mediation to chase.. again..
I might get something useful done after that!
Kaz.. The package for Squeak just arrived.. she has the biggest grin!!! Thank you so much!!! I love seeing that smile.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8 -
Pigpen - there's a strategy called 'grounding' (I think) may be worth looking at.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
