Ooh we've moved. I am starting to feel like a regular here as this is the third LW thread I've posted in. Hehe! Hi everyone.

Anic, I had the same thought exactly about Victory and Debenhams - thought she'd seen Vixarooni! (And maybe got a fitting in while she was there :p)

KPC that's another awful MIL comment! All of you with horrible MIL's I hope your OH's are worth putting up with this for! (In fact they should be defending you when the remarks are like THAT).

I've just exercised myself into the ground in the gym, and feeling a bit fragile now, but it was good.

Grocery shopping coming tonight and I've ordered some jelly, something I've not had for years but apparently this one is 8 cals per serving? Seems hard to believe, maybe it was an online typo that should have read 80!?
  • Thanks for starting yet another new thread Suggs  blimey where has all the time gone? ...

...Welcome crystal fire 86s4e0w.gifI hope you stick with us, the support and encouragement is next to none, so good luck :j ...

...Glad that you're feeling a bit better today Bails, just try and take it easy (that's an order:D )...

...I'm looking for healthy nibbly things for a Christmas buffet that can be used in dips. I've got some ideas from magazines etc such as mini chicken burgers in a couple of flavours but I shall make them into meatballs and put them on cocktail sticks, ditto some made with beans, sausage (I shall use the low fat sort) and stuffing balls wrapped in bacon. However, now I'm stuck, apart from crudite which are fine with me, I need some more ideas or else the family will revolt ;) but I just seem to be having a mental blockage, I had loads of ideas a few weeks ago but now I'm completely lost :o . Can some of you lovely peeps let me know what your ideas are? ...

...It seems that the nail wasn't strong enough for the wreath on our door so I've got my hammer out and here it is again (and it had better jolly well stay up this time:D )...

  • petrichor Have you looked at things like the Tescos party food range, they have some gorgeous things and theyre actually not as unhealthy as you might think. Ive been buying them for snacks as theyre so low in WW points.

there is nothing nothing nothing in the whole wide world that can replace chocolate (although chocolate is a perfectly good replacement for many other things, not all of them food). I have fun size versions (that doesn't sound right at all now but you know what I mean) and am rationed to one a day by my nearest and dearest who hide the bag with the rest in very carefully indeed.
Actulaly it's in the wardrobe (how imaginative was that!) but I'm pretending to myself that I don't know or I'll eat the lot.

    Hello everyone!
how are we all this freezing tuesday?

Im sure in comparisson to Gok i would be a slight dissapointment!

Ive also just realised im not apart of anything. 5lb or 2lb! I will pm dellybelly when she posts cos i dunno how to do it otherwise ha. anyway gotta pick up my boyfriend from work. see ya later!
  • Righty-ho, even though this is the wrong side of Christmas I want to join. A 5lb a month target should be okay. I used to be a dedicated Weightwatchers gal but a year of upheaval (splitting up form long-term partner, buying flat etc) has seen the return of 2 stone. Wish me luck everyone, and good luck to you all too.

Hello all...just came accross this and decided I would like to join in...think ill go with the 2Ib weight loss.

I started losing weight in March 2007..after having DD in February 2007...my start weight was 18 stone 3Ib and now I am 17stone 6Ib...I did get down to 17stone but my gran died and I have been varying between that and 17 stone 11Ib...so now its time to get down to it again....I would ideally like to get to 15 stone...for now lol...I have not been to any clubs and simply watch what I am eating and excerise and having 2 kids im on my feet constantly...so that helps :D

Anyway enough rambling from me...I am off to pm Dellybelly....hope to chat to you all through out my weight loss.

    Good luck to everyone :D
