  • missygsw9.pngWhat a fabulous achievement :T :T Do you think that you're brave enough to put your link here? You'll still be in control, and we (I) would like to see what your before and after pics, I just feel strange PMing you :o Anyway, well done for joining the maintainers' club...

    ...Well done too to dragon:j , bargain babe:j and krayzechick :j ...

...Bails and Brighton belle:grouphug: I'm sorry to see that you're both still feeling bleh!! I hope that you start to feel perkier soon :j ...

...emmalis I'm sorry but I had to laugh about your daughter being taken over by the terrible twos :rotfl: wait 'til the teens take over  :rotfl: ...

...I had quite a busy weekend which included Christmas baking, I'd been putting it off until I thought I could cope. I made 2 pates, and got all the stuff ready for a pork pie yesterday, but would the hot water crust pastry behave? Would it ****!! So it got consigned to the bin :rotfl: accompanied by some not very festive greetings ;) , but today I've made a fresh lot and now quite a pretty looking pie is sitting in the kitchen waiting to be baked :j . I've decided to wait and time it to be finished baking after MrP comes home, as although the happy tablets seem to have kicked in, I don't think they're strong enough for the major stropp that will ensue if the pastry cracks and all the juices escape :o ...

...Off now to give it glaze it...If you hear a thunderous roar later, it means that disaster has befallen me :rotfl: and the pie :rotfl: ...

    xxxx

ps Anyone worried that Suggs might be their SS? Batteries?? :rotfl: Crumbs!!:rotfl:
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

just back to my desk after having to take part in work's caring and sharing pr exercise. 'lets have all the office bods go work in the factory for a day!' I fell in a box of turkeys - fortunately wrapped and have just helped pack a few hundred frozen ones - some of which attacked me and my hands are all bruised now. Still, the supervisor said i was very helpful. They were very sympathetic and said lots of other people fall in boxes all the time but noone else did it when i was there. Still, must have burnt off some calories today, hefting 3 kilo turkeys around for 5 hours!

lots of brave people posting pics - well done. Emmalis are you emmalis on facebook?

i'm dead excited about christmas now - i gave into temptation and opened one of my presents today - my nana got me this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wilton-23-Cupcake-Stand/dp/B00076TPLW/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=kitchen&qid=1197910743&sr=8-2

which i've been wanting for ages. It doesn't encourage me not to bake cakes though, does it!

Funkyfunkymonkey - congrats on your weight loss, and welcome! When did you reach your target and how long have you been maintaining so far?

Hi missyg, thanks for the welcome. I reached my target on Saturday 8st 7lb, I guess I have maintained for a day

Unfortunately this afternoon was the Department's Christmas Lunch/Tea and I feel as if I have eaten a weeks worth of food.

Biggest 'sin' was the Chocolate Fudge Lumpy Bumpy with Ice Cream for pudding!!! It was gooey and chocolately and (lovely), I only ate 1/2 of it but I now feel really ill.

OH couldn't believe the size of my stomach when I got home, even the kids were saying 'whoa!!!' I look like I'm about to have my 3rd :rotfl:

Looks like I will need lots of support to get over just one event.
