    Can anyone help?
    Silly Q i know but.......
Have now sliced my lemon to have in my hot water but how do I store the lemon now its been cut?

Place the slices in an even layer on the bottom of a freezer tub (and balanced round the sides)....basically so they don't sit on top of each other...then freeze. Once they're frozen you can shake them up and store them in a bag or smaller tub...

Add one to hot water or cold...they act as a mini ice cube and work great....I also find that one slice can last a good three pint glasses...

  • Havent been on much, been over on live on £4000 for a year challenge, finding it hard to concentrate on two things at a time, losing weight and saving money which I feel the same principles apply to both, anyone ever read Alan Carr's "Easyweigh to lose weight" it is a great book and very thought provoking:D . Anyhow my friend and I are trying together and she weighed me today and I had lost three pounds so I feel that is my cue to get really motivated:j

I've been hanging out over there too, as well as the Grocery Challenge. Everyone has so much to say, it's hard to keep up here and there - I don't want to miss out on any tricks and tips.

You're right that the 3 threads are complementary, to save money you have to stop buying the expensive edible treats - 'cos you don't really need them. If you don't have the edible treats in the house then you can't snack and nibble throughout the evening - one of my biggest sins before gaining 'control'.

Trouble is, everyone else in the house is 'suffering' my 'frugality' (don't know if that is a real word).

  • Thankyou to you all for making me feel so welcome, and here's me thinking I'd be on my own - how wrong I was.
Many years ago I was the same weight I am now after my 2nd daughter but managed to get down to 9st 2. I went to SW classes for over a year however I can't really afford to go to the classes now. Having said that I know roughly what I can and can't eat having followed the diet for long time - either red or green days.
My downfall is my husband who's a chocoholic, and I love chocolate. I shall just get up and go in another room until he has eaten it to take my mind of it.
To help us, I have banned all sweets and chololates from all the children and they can have them on a weekend as a treat.
I know it is going to be hard but I am determined to do it this time.

Is there anyone in the East Yorkshire area wanting to meet up for walks etc and to jeer each other on more?

Which supermarket have the WW meals? My town only has a Tesco and they don't have them - did my online order today, ordered some for £1.39 each!
If this has helped you please don't forget to click Thanks, thankyou.

...As some of you may remember from times past, I decided to 'up' my exercise and one of the things was by jogging on the spot (to increase my pedometer count) I find I do it automatically now whilst doing such things cleaning my teeth, waiting for the kettle to boil etc etc; yesterday I was in the PO and whilst queing I started to do tiny jogging on the spot until MrP gave me a look ;)I hadn't realised I was doing it :o I was sent on to to do the next errand on my own :rotfl: ...
