I would add my before and after pic, but technically it wouldnt count because i didnt lose the weight via the forum!
Ajax, looking fiiiiiiiineI feel like a builder whistling at a woman.
Maths and me dont go either suggs. I got a D in GCSE, re took it but why i do not know! I had to use a calculator to work out 3000 x 3 once. Although that wasnt my fault, its my brain. Has to go the long way round every time!0 -
Raphael, I think I read that a portion of fruit or vegetable is the amount you can hold in your hand, which makes sense as larger people would tend to have larger hands and need to eat more. It might not be the tidiest way of measuring out though, I think it was intended to be a guide rather than an absolute measure. (Fruit juice only counts once a day too. Don't use your hand to serve it out)
Nope, that'll be me having a Doh! moment I'm afraid - and to think, Ofsted gave me an excellent for my Maths teaching!Bails, I'm sure they were right to do so. You were just being extra kind to me.
Talking of Ofsted .... We 're having a slight panic here at the GN academy for little terrors as our attached Middle School have the Ofsted people coming in tomorrow. We're tidying up, just in case. I've thrown out 4 bin bags of rubbish from my very very small office, then hidden the rest of the garbage. If they come to us next week at least all my shelves look tidy, even if the children don't know much.0 -

Am I too late to enter my weight loss this week? Computer would not speak to me this morning and didn't have time to argue with it as had to get to work.
Anyway I am down 3lb as at first thing this morning so well pleased with the start. That is 10lb altogether so far - only another 66 to go......
Well done all other losers. I'll go and read up on who you all are now - just wanted to get my loss down on 'paper' as it were.
Don't know about the before and after photo for me, Suggs - have not really lost enough to make much difference yet!0 -
If anyone's feeling generous, I could do with this cleavage:
