Thank you to Bails and Suggs for the congratualtions on breakingthrough the 2 stone barrier:confused: but last time I looked 2 stone was 28 lb so I'm not there yet.:( ...... but I will be. Thanks BB for backing me up, I was beginning to wonder if I was even more  than usual.

I don't mind you using my before and after pictures, if they are not too scarey! But not quite at the 'after' stage...

Oops I didn't realise weigh in was on a Wednesday! I will run around the house several times and then take all my clothes off and weigh myself, hoping I've lost a lb at least. If only I didn't have all those xmas goodies still in the house, I'm too mean to throw them away! I will put my weight loss - if I have one - on here in a mo. :o:o:o (I'm not feeling too optomistic tho)

My new posh weigh scales, oddly say that the best time to weigh is in the evening? as it also measures body fat, it says that as your dehydrated in the morning it can give a false reading, however surely your weight is at it's lowest in the morning?

I always weigh myself in the morning, as I haven't eaten yet. It's probably more psycological, as the last nights dinner would still be in my tummy, so I doubt it makes much difference.
I suppose as long as you always weigh yourself at the same time each week it doesn't matter.

EDIT: *except for the Abi Titmuss workout video - that worked for me. After watching that a few times I had a left arm like Arnold Schwarzenegger

What can I say to that ajax!?!

Well I've been very good this week, loads of salad, fresh fish and fruit. I even managed my first ever 5 a day yesterday. I have been eating a lot more bread than I usually do, I had 4 slices of Hovis seed sensation yesterday, has anyone tried it? It is beautiful!
Can I ask a dumb question? With the 5 portions of fruit & veg a day, is a jacket potato counted as a portion? What about salad?

Stick me down for a gain of 1.4 lbs this week BB, I weigh myself on a sunday so my good effort won't show yet.

I did try sw last year but am trying to avoid artificial sweeteners for health reasons.
Hi Catz, hope your new start at work, given what you were off for, has gone well and although I am sure you are tired, I hope it is a 'healthy' tired not a the life drainng sort. I know you posted the above a while back, but I just wanted to add that I have ben doing sw for 7 months have never used artificial sweetener I tend to cook from scratch. Well done on your 2lb loss - that's a great start.
Raphael - yup, I got your 1.4 gain down already from Sunday. Well done on cracking the 5 a day - no potatoes don't count, in any form. What do you mean by salad? Any fruit and veg in salad would count towards 5 a day but I'm not sure of the quantity that counts as a portion. I'm sure you'll have a loss on sunday if you keep this up. Then it's getting down to consistancy vs complasency isn't it :D .
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
