My low blood pressure always upsets them as well. When I had a 'Well Woman' check at 50 the nurse prewarned me that if my 'stats' were above a certain amount 'as they probably would' i would have to see the doctor to work out a plan of action. She was very disappointed when I came way below that number
She then doubled checked how much walking i said I did, they never believe me when i tell them
I was asked by the asthma nurse in a manner I didn't approve of if I knew why i was over weight, I did tell her it wasn't rocket science i ate more than i burnt off- but then my peak flow came in at 530 which it seems it's good for a women my age without asthma or being my sizeShe wasn't exactly slim herself

They all must live on clouds and only eat / drink water and salad... the other one is... Are you diabetic? I love giving them a puzzled look and ask, no why would I be? They have in the last 18 mths given me loads of blood tests, all coming up with nowt!
Think I might have a Gin for my pudding tonight.

Ah! That's it. According to their dinky little height/weight charts, I'm not overweight, I'm undertall.
I have a new Best Friend. Mouth Wash. A quick swirl and I can resist the chocolate for a bit longer.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Firstly I should say thank you for the last quarter - having to 'check-in' weekly gave me a little added momentum towards my target of a 21lbs loss, and at the end managed a 32lbs loss on the challenge and 42lbs since beginning my weight loss journey. At the end of the last quarter I was about 159lbs down from 202lbs, and think my ideal weight for the moment will be 154-155lbs or thereabouts.
So my aim for this next quarter isn't so much a loss, although I'll set a target of 5lbs - 159 down to 154, but to eat more varied foods again, so will see some fluctuations as I experiment, and try to maintain somewhere in the region of 152-157lbs by the time the quarter is finished. Since last week I'm down -2lbs, so I'll record it as a loss towards my 5lb goal. I've still got the goal of fish and chips with lots of bread and butter at 155lbs - so that's pretty close now.
Well done to those that lost on the last quarter - and wishing you all good luck on the new quarter. It can be really tough going to achieve a loss with the amounts of temptations that life puts in the way sometimes - I have to confess that ordering a pile of old style sweets didn't really help me - but the chocolate mice were adorable. In the next few weeks I'll be making an annual Christmas cake - with lots and lots of alcohol, fruit and sugar in it (I don't drink - but I do enjoy a brandy xmas cake) It'll make a change from chicken salads.

I wish someone would teach these people to ask ' why do you think you have a weight problem' and 'what can we do to help'?
No they like their little charts and to tell you what your BMI is.... I do want to say 'can you knock 10 points of my BMI, that's 5 for each breast'? but I don't they would be amused.
But yes - my Dr was a stick insect and seemed to think everything was due to my weight, including when I broke my arm.
And the same surgery when I asked about weight consultation and dieting advice give me a photocopied sheet put together by a company that made sweeteners on why it was better to drink diet coke instead of the full fat type. When I said I never drink soda you could see them thinking "what a liar!"
But meantime - STS. Which I think is better then admitting to STD.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I once went from a clothing size 26 to an 8 / 10... I drank a lot of diet coke, I can't now, my body just rejects the stuff, it does make me sick... I have the odd full fat and I'm ok.

At the risk of sounding like Frankie Howard 'ooh missus you wouldn't get many of this to the pound' 😁 the only other thing I will say is on me they are the last place to lose weight and the first place to put it back on 🙄
I've surprised myself with a -1lb loss this week which considering I was hunting Rennie before bed last due to a week of bad choices I was surprised 😁
Chris great start to the challenge 👏
Enjoy N Wales Suffolksue hopefully it wouldn't be too wet
