Newbie here, may I join in please? Aiming for 14lb by the end of the year.
Eat a mostly vegan/WFPB diet but alcohol and weekly "treat nights" involving junk food counteract any calorie deficit the rest of the week! I lost 1 and 1/2 stone over the last year but have put 1/2 stone back on so I'm still starting from a better place than I was this time last year.
OH is a meat eater which makes it more complicated but he is doing 5:2 so 2 days a week that makes it easier to deal with making different meals.5 -
Welcome CCW007
I can relate to the dangers of 'treats' especially when weekly treats can become daily ones
Left I don't think my first WI this challenge will be prettyand last night my body reminded me I was eating too much rubbish over the last few days - draw a line under the week and start again

Hi Brambling, yes I agree. Treats can be a problem.Yesterday we had a bottle of wine with our dinner and then i had a small Freddy bar. Just a little treat. Half an hour later I spotted some gluten free biscuits my dad had left for me back in August… I ate half of the pack.Wine really removes my ability to put limits on what I eat. It’s a good job we only drink wine a couple of times a month.Back to being good today… well hopefully…. I ordered a green chef box last week, which is arriving today and got loads of money off from top cash back, their own discounts, and money back on a credit card, so 3 meals for 4 cost only £7…. The problem is there is only two of us… and my DH doesn’t really believe in leftovers…. This may be a car crash week.3

Well, the green chef meals have turned up and the ingredients are handily portioned up for multiples of two people. So half the meat and fish is in the freezer. All the veg is in the fridge, so six dinners for £7, and no tempting leftovers sabotaging my diet. Hooray.

I’m delighted. They’re low carb and calorie counted too. They’re about 600 calories per meal once made.I’d better go for a walk now that the deliveries come. It’s currently not raining.2

I wish someone would teach these people to ask ' why do you think you have a weight problem' and 'what can we do to help'?
No they like their little charts and to tell you what your BMI is.... I do want to say 'can you knock 10 points of my BMI, that's 5 for each breast'? but I don't they would be amused.
