I think I'd better have another go. At least it might stop me putting it on. I'll go for an unambitious 5lb please Brambling. You are a dear to keep us all together. Thank you.

Right, I'm back in again. I'll see if I can find that willpower that worked for the 1st 2 quarters and then abandoned me in the last. I think it may have correlated with my Husband no longer needing to lose, it's easier when both of you do!
I will try and avoid the mountain of snacks in the house rather than saying I'll start when I've eaten them all. I'll go for a probably ambitious 14lb please! Thank you Brambling for running this and thanks to everyone that posts too.6 -
Welcome back LilacPotato
maybe your husband will rethink if he goes back to eating how he was as the weight he lost will go back on?

Brambling - yes, we're both back on it now! It won't take him too long to get to get where he wants to be, I just need to stick with it a bit longer than he does.
Our meals are generally good, our downfall is alcohol and the associated snacks in the evenings and weekends - we're very good at finding a "reason" as to why they are justified! I'm planning a 2 week nothing bad allowed at all to kick start it then I may allow bits in if they fit under a calorie goal. But I'll work that out once I see how well I manage this 2 week thing - it's only been 2 hours so far!6 -

My OH has a penchant for chocolate biscuits which I don't really like, so that's fine. But that means that instead cake is bought "to be fair". I don't want to be fair. I want to be thin!!! Can I join please.
I would like to lose 5kg/11lbs over this quarter .I lose weight slowly, so that’s ambitious for me, but I need to lose it because of multiple health problems including diabetes and fatty liver.Over the last year I lost 2 stone and put 10 lbs of it back on from June to now. However, losing the weight meant I could also stop one diabetes tablet in august, which stopped the gastritis caused by that tablet, so I could also stop the daily omeprazole, so I’ve gone from 5 tablets to three. My blood pressure has gone right down too, so I’m hoping in a few months to get rid of one blood pressure tablet.I am aiming for 7000 steps most days and I’m using the nutracheck app. My husband is as tall and slender as I’m short and overweight, and he can eat all sorts of rubbish without it really affecting him. But he’s prepared to go on the diet too to help me.7 -
Oh yes, and I’ve lost 3lbs over this last week.I’ve just got to keep up the motivation now.7

Welcome aboard saving_is_good and well done on the 3lb loss which I've added to the chart. I think you are demonstrating the benefits to our health in losing weight.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin5

At a size 12 in clothes I am still classed as obese on the fat chart, who ever invented that chart needs a kick where in hurts.
