  • I became very cynical of WW when I attended a class that had just started. They gave it no more than 3 weeks before closing it because not enough people attended. To me it was a busy class, but clearly not enough profits for WW.

I’m not going to enjoy WI on Monday morning. We’ve had a bit of an upheaval here, which has stress us both out, emotionally and physically and I’ve had a bit too much wine and chocolate, and a take way of fish and chips! I must learn to remain disciplined with my food, whatever happens.

Bella I hope next week is a better week for you.  I think there a too kinds of people one who stops eating completely when stressed and the other who eats to deal with it, I think many of us on the plus side are the later

Hurrah!!  Down a £ this morning!!  This is after last week me boomeranging way up and down and up again.  So that's 3 out of the 7 that I'm aiming towards.

Quite frankly I think the deciding factor has been to not buy any wine so I can't have a glass (or 2...) with dinner.  I haven't stopped having a before dinner drink (brandy and soda normally) but at least it's a step in the right direction.  Lets see if it continues to work in my favour!!!!

Thanks for the encouragement in this!

Well done Brie  :) unfortunately I think you are right about the wine, alcohol is unfortunately empty calories  :(

Bella I'm send you the ruler and dark pencil so you can draw a line under last week and start afresh, we've all been there  :)

    Have a good week all

  • @Brambling thank you! I am in a better frame of mind this week. I will follow @Brie’s lead and not have wine this week. I have one unavoidable meal out but I can cope with that.

    Good week everyone :)

Well as much as I love the colour purple I'm in for a bit of a change in interior this week. Reporting 2lb loss. Not based on effort except being in bed and not eating very much, so not much of an achievement.
I am still at the top max of my BMI so sooner or later this weight will have to come off, but the old weight staying off is even better.
Just being at home and eating, I am just still shocked of how little food I need, so I want to eat more lovely healthy and tasty dishes, so really part of my problem is the impetus to cook - cook healthy and then just eat some of the food :-) as opposed to all of it.
Bring on Christmas, new job, Bicycle commute and a hair more time. I'll stay on the challenge as I feel it is bad luck to have to restart everything in January, it is much better to use December to practice and then hit it harder in January, but already with systems in place.
    Have a great week everybody.

Sorry not to report in more often, but I meet myself coming back these days and time spent online is limited.

Anyways............STS please Brambling.  'tis a miracle!

I was expecting a large purple monster as I was treated to a dinner in posh restaurant as a thank you for a wake that I organised.
    Perhaps next week.

Well done on shaking off the purple Ditty 👏 I hope you haven't been too poorly if you've been in bed 🙂

Monna I can give you purple if you want?  >:)>:)>:)>:)>:)>:)>:). I hope you enjoyed your posh dinner, I think you earned it (tablet doesn't like 'earnt' I think that means I'm getting old🤨)
