    Same here. I think I need to ditch the butter. It is a massive proportion of fat for someone attempting to lower blood pressure. 
    Perhaps quark will work?

    I use quark for some stuff mainly as a carrier but I find it tasteless on its own.  I do use butter but I reserve it for a very few things and as it is just  me I keep it in the freezer to avoid temptation
