Has anyone ever managed to book one of these £1.98 tests?MasonJar said:I think as things stand the cheapest PCR tests are now cheaper than the cheapest LFT tests. You can buy a code for as little as £1.98 as well.
I noticed they're all self pickup tests which is fine, but the sort by location filter doesn't work on the government website. I've managed to find a few around the London airports, but October is always fully booked.0 -
Vast majority are click bait. They hope you will be attracted to their website by their low price, find that price isn't available to you and then pick one of their more expensive options.Del_III said:

I can't see how any reputable company can offer a PCR test for £1.98. The cost of running the test would be more than that without the extra admin overheads.Del_III said:

it may be a loss leader with only a limited number of tests available at that price.0
