Day 2 covid test

Travelling to Poland on 1st Oct. Return Monday 4th Oct after the rule change has come into effect. So all I need is a day 2 test booking to add on to the passenger locator form.

Confused about how/what to book. Prices linking through to provider websites from gov.uk are all over the place. The initial page has prices that don't seem to then be available when you click through.

All I think I need is a test to be delivered to my home before I leave, that I can then self-administer when I arrive back in the UK.

Can anyone help please?

You need (at the moment, meaning after the 4th, but due to change in the next weeks) a PCR test on return which can be self-administered.

Collinson are £55.20 with the code BA20OFF at checkout if you'd prefer to get it done at the airport (they're the largest airport provider). I can confirm the code works when not flying with BA (or at least did on the 14th).

I'm happy to pay a little extra for the convenience and to know the job is done properly, but that is your call to make alone and I have no interest in swaying your decision.

Randox Health £43 using FLYRYANAIR code.

Yes it's a pain in the backside that they are still being allowed to promote offers nationally that are only available in a few specific locations.
Sorry I can't think of anything profound, clever or witty to write here.
  • I'd seen the £40ish ones - but the gov website advertises prices from around £5-£20 and obviously I was looking for those.

However its bull. They simply aren't available at those prices.

I really don't care what the quality of service is like, all you're really paying for is the code to put on the PLF.
  • I have been looking around for a approved day 2 testing kit for the cheapest price but nothing coming up. What sites are people using? i need to book one in the next few days. thanks
