No, I've not seen Living, but I would like to. I think we missed it at our local cinema so I will wait for it to be on Prime.

Very cold today. I was going to plant some bulbs but have decided to leave it a few weeks till the cold snap is over.
Did some of the jigsaw this morning and caught up on The Apprentice. A lazy afternoon knitting.
Tonight we are out for dinner at our friends just up the road. I am in charge of pudding. I made some pineapple sorbet and some vegan ice cream (one is dairy free) so I am taking that. The ice cream is made with coconut milk and is supposed to be vanilla but it tastes delicious if you like coconut so I am calling it coconut ice cream.
Breakfast was toasted muffin, lunch scrambled eggs with potato rosti.

No NSD today as we needed milk. I have finalised my online shop but it won’t be delivered till Tuesday. I bought the milk at the Coop – I didn’t realised but I had £3.29 in reward money to be cashed in. A pack of jam doughnuts and a large block of chocolate accidentally fell into the shopping bag so I had to get them too – total £1.24 using the reward money.
We had a lie in this morning and had a bap for brunch with eggs, bacon and hash brown. Dinner tonight is the last of the Christmas leftovers, ham and some bubble and squeak. We’ll watch a film this afternoon and have the doughnuts and chocolate – the diet will begin (again) tomorrow!
Before doing the online shop I got a couple of cookbooks out and I’ve planned the next couple of weeks menus trying out some different recipes this time.

Out early doors this morning as we had to visit the big city! A 58 mile round trip so we tried to make the most of it. DH kept running out of data so we went to the phone shop – can’t begin to explain how helpful they were. The upshot of it all we are saving 10p per month now. He was paying £12.00 per month for 1 gb of data, he is now paying £11.90 a month for 10 gb of data. No idea how that works, but for once we are the winners. They also set up the app for him so he can monitor his data usage.
On the way we stopped off at the charity shop and I dropped a bag in. We also called at the dump and I dropped in a bag for the textile bank.
We combined this with a visit to Waitrose and had breakfast there. Got a few bits and pieces. I also called in at Hobbycraft and bought more wool, enough to finish the red blanket I am knitting and enough to crochet a granny square blanket which I saw in Jessica Fletcher’s house on Murder She Wrote. I took a photo and am going to replicate that once the red one is finished.
Late afternoon/early evening we will go to the pub for a drink.
Breakfast was a fry up at Waitrose so we skipped lunch. Tonight its scampi and oven chips. A bit of an unhealthy day eating wise! But, it is what it is.

DH mowed the lawn and tidied up the garden.
We are off out late afternoon/ evening to the pub with a friend.
