NSD 5/18
NSD today (which I desperately needed)!
Received my first Christmas card. I have cut right down this year and will only post 2 one to MIL and one to my brother and his family. Most of the cards I write are for neighbours - they are very big on writing cards around here
Breakfast was sausage, scrambled egg and potato farl. As it was a brunch we just had an early dinner of fish, chips and peas. Later we will have some pate on bread if we need it.
This morning I hoovered, did a load of washing and tidying up. We are going to friends for dinner tomorrow and I am in charge of the pudding. Am doing the Hairy Bikers key lime pie with gin. The base layer and the first layer are now complete and chilling in the fridge. Tomorrow I will complete it with the final layer and then the chocolate drizzle. Its the first time I've made it and so far its going well, Lets hope it tastes good.
This afternoon I have done nothing but watch the TV and do some sewing.

NSD today.
So far I've tidied up, done some sewing and put the final layer of jelly on the key lime pie. Once that has set I will then drizzle the melted chocolate on top. Will do that later this afternoon.
Breakfast was crumpets with honey, lunch will be tuna sandwich and then dinner at friends.
Weather is nasty today, that horrible drizzle/mizzle rain that drenches you. I was going to go to a Christmas fair on a nearby farm, but have decided it will be too mucky plus I don't want to be tempted to spend money so I'll stay at home.Debt free and Keeping on Track2 -

No NSD yesterday, but one today. DH had an x-ray appointment yesterday and we visited the nearby garden centre for a cuppa and a mince pie.
Today we had porridge for breakfast, roast pork for lunch (should have had yesterday but didn't have time after the appointments etc.) Tonight we will have salmon sandwiches.

DH took his motorbike for its MOT today, luckily only had to pay for the MOT and it passed with no advisories. Therefore no NSD. That is all that was spent today though.
Toast for breakfast, cauliflower soup (home made for lunch) and curry pork using leftover pork from the roast. Will have that will cauliflower rice and poppadoms.
I have a glut of cauliflowers as the next door neighbour bought me two round last night.
Bed is changed. Washing is on, but will need to be dried indoors. Its very misty and drizzling now, we have all the lights on as its so dark.
DH had a sort out in the loft and got a big sign which you plug in and we are giving that to the neighbour as he may make use of it - we last used it 20 years ago for my 40th!
So glad we got a small amount of decluttering done.Debt free and Keeping on Track1 -

No NSD again as we went to supermarket and I got fresh veggies, fruit and milk. I think I'm set now till Christmas.
Kitchen cleaned and floor mopped.
Craft room cleaned and ready for DS to use as an office. He is due home Friday fingers and everything else possible crossed that he makes it. I'm getting a bit gittery again with the news - must stop reading it!
Breakfast was porridge, lunch cauliflower soup and bread which I made this morning. Dinner tonight is leftover curry in a jacket spud.Debt free and Keeping on Track2 -
Fingers crossed for DS making it OK Mrs P! I think we're all getting a bit twitchy about what might happen, now!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Seems like your son has timed it just right to see you on Friday .
I'm doing the same as last year 🌲being Macaulay culkin . I cannot be bothered with the media melodrama tbh and only managed to book the booster jab ( jab no.3😾) reluctantly for next weds.I think quiet nights in with Jack Daniels and Jim beam are more preferable than nightclubs
