So I'm going to aim for 21 NSDs this month.
1/21Today I’ve cleaned both bathrooms and changed the bed. Also had a walk around the village, takes me about 10 minutes, but I have decided its better to do that every day rather than a 1 hour hike once a week! The weather is starting to close in now, so I’m glad I did it when I did.
Breakfast was porridge with banana at 11 am as we had a lie in. Will skip lunch as its pizza night tonight, so we are having pizza with home made Cajun spiced wedges and coleslaw. There are a few choccie biccies left and some Christmas cake, so will have those to snack on.
This afternoon I’ll do some sewing/knitting and probably the odd bit of tidying up.

Today I’ve made a loaf of bread and tidied up and done another load of washing. Spent half an hour in the garden doing a bit of weeding. The weather is very sunny today, but very windy. There are quite a few clouds about, but its nice to see the sun.
We got up late and had a fry up for breakfast was lovely for a change. Dinner tonight is chilli with cous cous and some flatbreads.
Started watching The Tourist on BBC1 last night and really enjoyed it. I notice that all the episodes are on the iplayer so will be watching that over the next few days.

Tonight we are having Chinese takeaway and to make use of the journey I will pop into Sainsbogs and and get some milk and fruit etc.
Had another lie in today so muffins for breakfast/brunch. Will have a cuppa and cake this afternoon and then the Chinese for dinner tonight. I’m looking forward to it, it will be the first takeaway we’ve had in couple of months.
A bit of a lazy day today, some sewing and will watch the last two episodes of The Tourist.

We had a lovely walk today, but then the heavens opened and we took refuge in a café for coffee – didn’t have any cake.
I was glad that we did the walk and it really did blow the cobwebs away. The weather has really turned here temperature wise and its gone down to around 5 degrees, last few weeks it has been around 12 so a bit of a shock to the system, although it is normal now for this time of year.
We have had to have some work done on the motorhome and DH paid on his CC £500 odd – that’s all that is on there, but I’m wondering whether to transfer it to our joint CC – the one I’m paying off in my signature. I have got a 0% transfer deal. That will then mean it’s all in one place, and I can lump it with that debt. I like to keep DH’s card for emergencies. I will give it a couple of weeks to think through. The OCD in me likes the thought of one debt and not two – even if it’s the same amount.
Cereal for breakfast, soup and bread for lunch and tonight we have leftover Chinese stir-fried.

Started to plan some time away in our motorhome in June/July this year.
Made a cherry sponge with cherry curd filling. Used Mary Berry’s tip to roll the cherries in flour before putting in the mixture so they don’t sink – it worked!
Breakfast was porridge with banana, lunch home made quiche with slaw, cucumber, rest of the breadsticks and some crisps and apple. Dinner tonight is jacket spuds with sausage casserole with a sprinkling of cheese on top.
Weather still quite cold but some sunshine which is always nice.

Well for better or worse I have done the balance transfer – will take a few days apparently. It means that my CC debt has gone up by £600 but at least it is all in one place and all at 0%. I have another 20 months at the 0.
Weather very wet and windy today, but I walked down to the village to collect my prescription. I was tempted for a coffee at the café but I resisted and have “saved” that £5 into my holiday account. This is what I am trying to do this year. I would rather be having a coffee when on holiday than in our village café when its only a 5 minute walk back to my house!
Breakfast was potato farl with bacon and poached egg (another saving there by not having breakfast in the café, which I would have done two months ago), skipping lunch and dinner tonight is pasta carbonara – so a bacon and egg day today - which I have just realised and is not good food planning!
This morning I’ve also hoovered downstairs and cleaned the kitchen floor. I’ve made some cookies form a kit left over from Christmas. This afternoon I will make the pasta for dinner.

It seems wise what you did with the payment mrs p.
It's always best to have an emergency backup somewhere . Hopefully you won't need for a long time .Cloudy here , and cold . 🥶☁️ . Rain later 🌧1 -

Weather atrocious today, driving rain and wind. Despite that I went out shopping for basics and stuff for next week. Did my meal planning beforehand. For the first time in a long time I actually stuck to my list, the only extra was crumpets – pack of 12 reduced to 49p.
Breakfast was toasted pikelet, lunch will be home made sausage rolls, salad and apple and tonight its fishcakes, chips and veggies.
Done a load of washing and its drying on the rads. We have had the heating on quite a lot as DS is still with us (leaves tomorrow). He is working from home in the spare bedroom so we have had the heating on for him. When he goes back it will be back to normal and we won’t have the heating on as much, we rely more on the electric heater in the sitting room, it has a thermostat cut out and is great for heating that one room. I have enjoyed DS being with us, but it will be nice to get back to normal tomorrow!
If you like a good thriller can I suggest Stay Close on Netflix, just finished watching and it was really good – although a bit strange in parts. Everything was tied up in a brilliant ending. I hate some things that you watch for several hours and then the ending is rubbish.
We have received a letter inviting DH to apply for his state pension - all done online so fingers crossed he will get it some time in May. Will make a massive difference to our incomes.Debt free and Keeping on Track2 -

Today I made a reading nook in the dining room just by moving a bookcase and a lamp. I am really pleased with the result. I also tidied up the dining room while I was at it.
Breakfast was a muffin, lateish lunch was pizza and salad as we are then taking DS to the train station. Will be home around 7pm so will have a supper of some samosas I found in the freezer with some bread and cheese, so a bit of a “use up” supper. I also found two pieces of pineapple upside down cake in the freezer, so I’ll warm that up and have with some yoghurt.
Also done a list of tasks to do this coming week. Am now getting motivated!
Also weighed myself today – lost 2lbs, so really need to try and keep that up as well.
