Morning lovely turtles
Setting out my stall for October:
health - get my focus back and do 10k steps everyday; return to healthy eating habits. Had been eating well and doing regular exercise and walks but got into bad habits when on holiday - walked loads but ate and drank far too much. Time to refocus.
wealth - make sure i do a proper budget each month and start to build up some savings. Lots of birthdays coming up between now and the end of the year plus the other big event on its way so definitely need to budget and plan ....
a life well-lived - will try to factor in regular fun things; have started to see friends on a more regular basis. Got a few nice things to look forward to and its my birthday too!
The challenge:
Fun. got a few plans, some will cost and some are free - cinema to see JB; meal at friend's house (free); book groups (free).
Intellectual pursuit./ new skill . have wanted to learn to crochet for ages and have found a teacher....
Thankfulness – post 3+ gratitudes each day. Will do
Food – eat well, eat simply. Love soups and hotpots.
Overhaul one area. Will tidy and sort my bedroom which has become a dumping ground and not a peaceful sanctuary
Read a couple of books for fun Absolutely no problem at all!! I read most days as it's my me time and joy.
Plan - got a few plans and will need to spend more on petrol as visiting DD2 at uni and possible trip to family. Will aim for 12 NSDs
Understand - being outside and still and looking at nature makes me calm
Rejoice/Reduce - being with people i love/continue decluttering
Plan for Dec - already got a couple of small things & got ideas for presents. Will start batch cooking for the freezer
Outside - most definitely!
Stop and simply be - i know this works so must do it
Extend a hand - I give regularly to a number of charities; will donate to foodbanks too
Love Deni

Afternoon turtles. I managed NSD 1 yesterday, went for a nice dog walk with mum and dad so got some steps in (although dog is old so slowing down bless him), and did a yoga session. We also had dinner at a nice Thai restaurant which was lovely, I was absolutely stuffed!
Today will be a spend day as I'm travelling home and will use contactless for the last part of the journey.5 -
I have DS1 at home as it is DH's birthday weekend, and the poor thing is sick as a dog. Awful cough, sore throat, can't stay awake, so we are feeding him up, and have just sent him off for a nap. Freshers' Flu in the house! He looks much more grown up though, and has only been away 2 weeks.I have contacted 2 roofers today to come and have a look and 2 loft peoples.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

It’s grocery delivery day so I’m staying on NSD 1. And made some other small purchases.Today’s fun was going to the football (free ticket) and getting an exceptionally good football pie (the other small purchases).Today’s food was porridge with blueberries, banana on toast, an apple, a mini steak pie, and homemade katsu curry for dinner. In my effort to have less screen time and rest my eyes more, I turned my phone off at 9pm last night. I think I had a better sleep as a result. I’ll do the same again tonight.Grateful for a free ticket for the football, for having a seat sheltered from the rain, for DS having a good time too.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸5

Today I am grateful for trying out the battle ropes at the gym, for having fuel (went past 5 garages today, all empty), for dc enjoying dance, for sitting in the car and reading while dc danced, for fresh bed linen.
