Try clicking on the take me back to the old dashboard [for now] atthe bottom of the home page. It shows far more info than the one that is their new page?
I've tried that but no additional information was shown; although I haven't submitted any meter readings since 26 September and that's not shown. The layout may be different but, for me, there was no additional information.

. . . There is no hard facts on a user getting these tariffs yet, so that seems a little unfair. . .
Thanks NINJA59 for the info above. Have you seen any Ts&Cs for this tariff? Is there any requirement to have a smart meter installed?

For reference sorry guys, no full t and c's even in the confirmation email, but the important key bits are. There is no smart meter requirement.

The loyal tariff has changed again to 12 months not 24 as well now.

I will keep an eye on our DD I left the avro one, but it is too low, i think I might put a one off in the octopus to save a scary bill when this !!!!!! is sorted or call them next week bin the Avro one off and get an octopus one setup covering the extra amount.
  • My plan currently is to leave the DD amount at the Avro level and add manual payments each month. That way I hope to keep my balance at nearly zero over Winter. You're expected to keep the balance positive anyway so might as well do-it-yourself.

    That's an excellent idea  :)

I submitted my 1st 'regular' readings to Octopus on 7th November. Weirdly, the reading dates showed as 4th November, despite it clearly being 7th. I emailed and several days later, response was that they had corrected the date, no explanation though.

Those readings now show correctly, as does my new DD date and amount. Nothing else there yet, but I'm not concerned as I was well in credit with Avro and submitted readings on both 23rd & 26th Sept.

Administrators certainly seem to be dragging this out though.

I've not been involved in an SoLR transfer before but it has only been six weeks since Avro failed which seems a lot less than some horror stories I've seen on MSE for other SoLR transfers.
When Octopus really wants fresh readings and more money they will soon let me know so I'll wait patiently till that happens.
    Couldn't give a monkey's ... ! :)

This is exactly my plan too.

Octopus have had £0 from me so far. Their money is currently stored in my account.

My reading date was recorded differently too. The explanation I received from CS was that the reading was taken as an opening reading and thus the date that was recorded was the date Octopus completed the switch.

Tongue in cheek, I replied, that's great news then as no doubt I will now be charged AVRO rates until that date then.

As expected, no such luck 😂

No explanation offered to me, though that sounds plausible.

I'm not concerned, as I should have only a small debit balance once my Avro credit is transferred and Octopus start issuing bills.

I was considering that, a one off payment so to speak.  What put me off is the lack of information on the website so I was concerned that any one off payment I made would not show up or not end up in Octopus account!!
