Avro have 2 months worth of direct debits £252 still to be refunded and Octopus have now taken 3 months worth of direct debits £468. I have given Octopus 3 sets of meter readings (gas and electric) and still no sign of a bill/refund etc and with the possible increase in energy costs I just want to know where I stand. I think I heard Martin Lewis advise someone on his TV programme recently to officially complain - I tried through Twitter and got the stick reply of "We are working etc....." and I'm really not sure how or if to take it further. Anyone else in a similar situation at the moment?0

I was with pure planet, then switched to Green but that never happened as it got taken over by Avro and then Octopus. I have no idea what is happening with my bills but Octopus want to increase my DD. My payments to Avro I have no idea when i can see them refunded. Just glad I cancelled the direct debits when I did.
Just bit disturbed that they want me to pay £491 as my DD are too low apparantly and increase them to £270 month in March. Might hold off payment and wait till March as this seems a big jump on what I am paying and who knows I might get my Avro refund by then0 -
Very pleased to have the £140 Warm Home Discount credited to my Octopus acount today, brings my balance down to about £30.Was wondering if I would receive it this year0

Latest non-update from my contact with them.Sadly we are still waiting for some details of your account to be migrated over to us, it looks like you should be able to get things set up with your octopus account though. (Request for dd to be set up.)Your meters are sending us through readings regularly - but until we receive all the details through from Avro we won't be able to get you billed up to date just yet.Sadly, we don't have a timeframe for the migration to be completed, we are working closely with Avros Administrators to get it all processed as soon as possible, but we will be continuing to update the Avro updates page - https://octopus.energy/avro/All the Best,All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -

It wouldn't be so bad if they actually updated the update page. Only 1 update in 6 weeks is ridiculous.
The last one was basically a copy and paste of the story in This is Money.co.uk the day before.

Three months of DD's paid, account showing in credit because they are not taking any money.?
They FINALLY charged some money yesterday....hopefully a bill will be generated soon so I can finally see how much in debt I am.1 -

I submitted my month end meter readings this morning (for the Avro inherited account) and within a few minutes, the displayed balance reflected the bill amount I was anticipating, I then got an email saying they'd got my meter readings and 40 minutes later I received an emailed statement. This is exactly how it works on the account I already had with them for my own property, so for me at least, it has now settled down to an expected routine. Maybe because I'm already a customer (maybe it just needed one or two less steps), it has settled in as one of the first tranche to sort out, but it does at least seem to be working smoothly for me now.0

Once Avro's administrators issue your final bill, we'll update your Octopus balance and your transfer will be complete. We'll be in touch as soon as we know more.
