I would jump. They have already intimated that they are chatting with investors, that is not a good sign. On top of a DD increase with high credit...2

Just some advice.
If igloo does go down the pan your credit balances will be carried over to new supplier, however it could take upto 4 months to sort out with the new suppliers as accounts gets migrated, igloo will not refund you directly. Juts make sure you take meter readings when they announce closure.2 -
Thanks Manic37..i hope so!manic37 said:
It should go through, Igloo haven't announced they've ceased trading yet, i think the real danger in a move being blocked is switching after companies cease trading and a SoLR has been appointed.Ferboz said:
I must admit..i have probably panicked, but i initiated a switch yesterday to British Gas. The tariff wasnt too far away from the one i am on with Igloo ( well when the increase starts on 1st October). I think i am going to cancel my DD too as i am currently £129 in credit, with a bill due at the end of the month, & the following month as we are light users.. so that will more than cover the amount needed. I am hoping the switch goes through..FifiAnne said:I'm with igloo, Martin said they were in discussion with administrators. Should I start a switch or is it too late? Don't want to get caught up in limbo if they go bust!1 -
You're welcome, i initiated a switch to EON Next from Igloo on Monday and EON told me no matter what happens with Igloo the switch will go through.Ferboz said:

Did you go for the fixed or variable with EON Next. I'm in the same position and not quite sure what to do?manic37 said:

Igloo have ceased trading. Just got email from them.0

Hi,here's the latest, read.0

I'm mid switch from Igloo, got an email from them a few days ago that they'd been informed I was leaving and another email to say my DD had been cancelled. If anyone has a live DD with Igloo I'd keep an eye on your bank account to make sure no more payments get taken.0

Just had a long email from them, but this sums it up:
"It is with great regret that we need to therefore inform you that Igloo Energy Supply Limited is ceasing to trade, and your energy supply will now be transferred to a new supplier. You need not worry; your supply is secure and funds that you have paid into you accounts will be protected if you are in credit. You can find out more details about this here."
