Happy Birthday @Dizzy_Imp ! Will you be celebrating with another gymnastics class? [insert wicked_grin emoji]
Narc0, that sounds like a perfect end to summer - though I hope you get in a few more outdoor swims before it gets too cold, brrr!
I was awake well before the lark this morning - there were still owls about - and have not been able to get back to sleep, so I shall be running on empty by lunchtime
So far, I have FUPA all the clean washing, flung an old pillow in the bin *before* the bin has been emptied, opened all the curtains, tidied the LR, and made myself and DH a cuppa (each). I have also written out my long list of mostly admin jobs to do today and am about to start working my way through it. I must start by picking up a pile of papers off the floor and sorting it before breakfast (which, as DH is also up, will be at a more civilised hour than usual) - ETA too late! Breakfast is ready!
I need to be rid of the Donate box off my DR table by lunchtime, and I have a birthday card to post to DGD1 who will be 11 on Friday.
Will pop back in later to see you all and report back on progress xx

Flying is slow to start today as my friend gave me a book which I started reading last night, the result was I turned the light off late and got distrated by it again this morning. But
DW emptied
Kitchen tidied
Bed made, clothes picked up
Time sheet ready to send off on Thursday evening
Some admin to do today, and want to hoover through. Washing to go on and a bit of food shopping to be done
See you later

Moomins appointment at 9:30..I need to ring the librarychange my bedding (OH's side stinks!)
get some pictures on the wall because I have spent 16 years with 2 tesco crates of pictures getting broken and I am sick of it.
sand bit of wall.
I've decided Squeak is getting a little greenhouse thing for christmas and some seeds and we will call it a mini allotment.. she can grow little plants and we can have a little stall at local events selling seedlings so we can buy more educational resources. In theory.. in practice we probably won't because we eat everythingnor kill it.
I need a big shallow planter to grow grass for the cat pen, I feel bad there is no grass in there for them to roll in. When we win the lottery I am having a cat proof lid on the garden to keep everyone in and safe. (I have never bought a ticket in my life)
WM's to go onStuff to fling in the car to go to CS.. sick of falling over everything!grass mincing was postponed so OH can do that today.
Squeak can water.. she has been banished to the shower first.

Hi all
Posting from our holiday cabin in the woods! It is blowing a gale and pouring down, we went for a short walk this morning and everyone else is now snoozing or reading.
I miss you all. Glad you have made a decision ASB, I admire you x
Think we might be heading out again later for food. I will keep an eye on what you are all up to 😊 x10 -
Enjoy your holiday Yorkshire Lass!Happy birthday, Dizzy. We are finally rid of the wretched lodger and Fed Ex has removed her huge suitcase. It's been an absolute nightmare, so much so that I turned her room around before she had even left the building - not something I've ever done before. Unamused but not surprised to find a pair of Y fronts in her bed when I stripped it, and they can only have arrived last night when we were out at the cinema. *yuk*Lovely lodger comes back tomorrow for three days and can go straight back in there. *relief*B00ts the Opticians no longer have a Minor Eye Clinic Service. All they're really there for now is to do eye tests and provide glasses. Ironically, Sp3csavers does have a MECS service. Either way, my eye problem still needs attention after a wasted three week wait for an appointment booked online. With any luck I'll be diagnosed next Monday at a local independent opticians.Layla is currently having surgery as I type. I took her in this morning and the masses on her boobs are apparently only fatty tissues. They were found last March and she's been waiting for urgent surgery ever since and I'm absolutely delighted to say because they're nothing sinister they can't have spread anything around her system. I'm completely relieved. She won't be. Her teeth needed a clean last March and she's had five out this afternoon. £££, so thank goodness she's insured. So, in all that excitement Flying has been taking a back seat these past 10 days. I've managed to clear the washing on days when it could all be line dried, stayed on top of the shower room and bathroom, the kitchen's taken a battering but it's almost presentable as long as no-one looks at anything too closelyand the floors have had attention when as soon as they started to look a bit freckled with fluff etc.Good luck with your meeting ASB. If you're a member of a Union please speak to them about it before you go to see if you can take a witness. If not, please ask if you can record it with your mobile phone.Better is good enough.9
