That will leave 'shower and wash hair' from my must do today list....and I'll do that this evening and get cabinned in early in my PJs.
Thank you to whoever threw spoons in my direction - very much appreciated 😘

Round 2 completed.
Pops informed me that DB has had a suspected stroke and is having a lumbar puncture. Apparently the scan showed scars of previous strokes...which was news to DB.
I've got some jam jars and lids soaking ready to be washed and recycled. Every little helps

Goodness Round.. that must have been another shock.. you are not having a nice peaceful year are you?! I hope he is soon recovering and it is something he can make a recovery from. I'm meeting my friend for lunch on Friday, she had a stroke last year so this should be fun, her speech has been effected and I have hearing loss and can't understand accents never mind speech difficulties, we might end up texting one another across the table!
DS2's washing done.. it smelled so bad I had to keep moving away to take a breath... I need to hang that out.
Squeak did her online lessons and built a 3D isometric shape.
i wasn't able to get any answer from the library.. might try again in a second before it shuts at 5
Dinner, pack ups, DW, hang out DS2's washing and bring in dry stuff.
Trying to sort what we shall hide under Dots bed with OH is like talking to the fish...

Thank you piggers xx Just heard from DSil - it's not a stroke, but he has definitely had a stroke in the past - which he knew nothing about. Still having tests but not found anything yet. There has to be a reason why he woke up blind in one eye surely. Obviously not son of Boris or they wouldn't be doing all those tests. My Boris is playing up but he has been all week- stress I guess.
I've brought in my dry washing, folded it and taken it upstairs. And 4 jam jars + lids are now washed, delabelled, and in the recycling box.

Evening all,
Thank you for the lists and for all the added extras just for being on here with you lovely lot.
Not a lot achieved today beyond a load of towels in the wm and dinner cooked after a day at paid stuff. I assume that DH hung the towels outside to dry this morning, and that he has then stashed them in the airing cupboard. I haven’t actually looked though.Tomorrow I am home alone - DH is booked to go into the office for a rare visit, and DD obviously isn’t here. I will be lost and gabbling to myself. Steeling myself to do the hated kitchen jobs. Might even get the mop out, but no promises.
Drat it - just remembered that there is an ironing pile to deal with. Not sure that I cba now, it might have to wait.9 -
Thanks for lists. Doing my own thing as ever, but good to 'report in' and check what I should have done.
- did a lot of pruning
- followed by trip to the tip with 5 bags of shreddings (brown bin and our compost bins all full)
- went to Mr T
- went with 15% voucher to G00utd00rs as we both needed things. Was hoping to find some sort of waterproof light for tomorrow's Full Moon swim, but they don't do swimming stuff and I didn't recognise anything in the fishing section as resembling a light. Tempted by glow sticks as they are fun but a) they are plastic b) they are full of chemicals - both of which add up to very non recyclable. Plan to put the round 'torch' (usually magnetised to the fridge door in case of emergency) inside my inflatable float/dry bag and hope it shows through. Yesterday I went for a short run then cycled to church - after the swim does that make me a triathlete........thought not.
- exchanged a few emails with uni about planned work
- had a chat with my mum and brother. Looks as if she might prefer me to go down at the weekend as DB has a week's work and it's a long time to be on her own at present.
- did a bit of drum practice
- one load of washing done, hung out, brought in dry.
- picked latest tomatoes and runner beans
-did a bit of generalised tidyingRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Morning all,

Morning all xx
I definitely MAD in the kitchen yesterday- thank you for the spoons that were sent my way 😉 Much pleasanter to walk into this morning...I can see worktop and the draining board is clear woot woot.
Had my shower and hair wash this morning after a struggle to get out of bed. Not physically. Anxiety had me pinned down - and I don't know why really, but heyho: I'm up, made my bed, showered, dressed, packed up, eaten breakfast and having a brew.
I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I heigh ho. Finished another perfume this morning - so the bottle and box will be recycled. Every little helps 😉
Take care.

Morning all,
An early start on my day off, after DH was pacing the house at 3am, then got up again at 5am. So I got up and made a cuppa at 6.15 and went back to bed with my book. It’s the final Wolf Hall trilogy book, so not one that I find I can skip through.
Am now up, showered, hair washed and first load going through the wm. Having a second cuppa, then I will attempt to dry and tame my hair before making a list for today.
Back later. Hugs, sticks and spoons as required x10
