With a claim almost 6 years old they may struggle,
Is it 2026 already? (I suggest you re-read the OP) ;)

The only way a stop could be put is by paying the PPC - not something we suggest.

It's 6 years from the date of the alleged contract breach.
Paying will never be an option...
  • My local MP contacted HX directly (by letter) yesterday, so it will be interesting to see what their reply is?
  • UPDATE: I received a letter from my MP dated 27th October. It basically stated what I already knew regarding 2 digits, etc, so was pretty disappointing. I've since awaited for further correspondence from Gladstones, etc, but fortunately I haven't heard a peep out of anyone else since, which I'm hoping is a good thing.
  • No great surprise that you didn't get any joy from your MP but at least Parking issues for his constituents might be in his mind going forward. You might get another begging letter from Gladstones but it is more likely you will receive a claim form from the CCBC at some point

We shall see, but for now I'll let sleeping dogs lie.

But you already know that they don't have to correspond with you.  If they want to start a County Court Claim against you, they will do so within 6 years of the date on your PCN. You're obviously not on their Xmas card list, thankfully.
