The roboclaim LBC you received from Gladstones is word for word the same as that sent to my son. As Le _Kirk suggests they are trying to frighten you into paying.  Their claim in the second para regarding the extra £60 'nominal contribution' allowed by their IAS trade association is not legally allowed and the standard defence template covers this. The fact that they refer you to the Pre-Action Protocol and then ignore it themselves is a joke.

What information have they actually sent you in response to the SAR? Have you managed to get a redacted copy of their pay machine record showing what VRM they allege was entered? Have they sent a copy of their Landowner contract? These aren't necessarily needed for your defence should you receive a County Court Claim but by staying on the front foot, obtaining and analysing all the documents will provide you with additional ammunition for your witness statement.

Yes a proper Letter Of Claim, but sent on 17th August 2021 - over six weeks ago.
I probably binned the original letter, but then received it via email 25th August. They were sent my official reply 31st August. I've replied to them 2 or 3 times since, regarding requests for SAR's, but no further replies from them.
Did you submit your SAR to the DPO of the parking company?  If so, when?  They have 30 days (one calendar month) to respond.  You don't want a SARS, that is sudden acute respiratory syndrome!

I sent the request 20th September to the HX DPO, got a reply 1st October from Ellie Berkeley, Director. It was SAR's as I've made the same request to ADR-Legal.

Pedant alert - there's no possessive or contraction; it's a plural so should be SARs rather than using the Butcher's Apostrophe. ;)

Quick question. As they have 6 years in which to drag this out, possibly causing undue worry and anxiety, can the individual actually put a stop to it, if these companies choose to delay at their leisure?

The only way a stop could be put is by paying the PPC - not something we suggest.

It's 6 years from the date of the alleged contract breach.
