I’ve had my 2nd £130 bonus today.  New EveryDay account was opened on 2/10 and switch completed on 10/10.
My 1st bonus came a week ago, on an account switched 3 days before this 2nd one…so this one took a bit longer to pay out.

Incidentally, more than £1k came into the account via the switch from other bank.  I then also paid in £1k to be on safe side….but it was moved from another Santander account.

Am pleased to have earned over £500 in switching bonuses since Sept.

Thanks for this thread - has been useful to track the process through and see e who did it first got on.  Enjoy your cash everyone.

How did you qualify for 2nd bonus with a 2nd account? The offer t&c 2.2.2 says to be eligible you must

"not have previously received or participated in any other incentive for switching to any of our accounts or any account with cahoot or Cater Allen which are part of Santander UK plc;"

So I assumed I was excluded from it having switched to a Select account last month

FTAOD assuming you mean you've already had the current incentive, you'd be at the correct conclusion but for the wrong reason.

In this clause, as a beneficiary in THIS incentive, it would still be theoretically possible, because the bonus is only excluded from benefits earned  'in any OTHER incentive for switching...'.

However it does (should) still fail under:

3.3 We will make one Cashback Payment only, even if more than one Qualifying Account is opened and/or switched into by you or one of the joint holders. If you open the Qualifying Account in joint names and all of you have qualified for the Switcher Offer and the Cashback Payment, then we will make one Cashback Payment only into that Qualifying Account. We will not make any other payment and you and any joint account holder(s) will not be entitled to more than this one Cashback Payment between you.

    eta 'should'

It was myself and my husband.  So it’s 2 people.  Sorry if it sounded like I had personally had 2.
That said, lots of couple have got 3, by doing an individual switch each and also a joint switch.  The terms allow it.
Where have you seen that lots got 3?

The terms specifically state you won't qualify for an additional reward:

    Confused with Nationwide maybe?
  • I think I might have muddled this Santander switch with the Nationwide one.  My husband and I have also each done that switch too.  I think it might have been that one which allowed a single switch each and a joint one.
There is certainly a current switch where it’s possible for a couple to get 3 switching bonuses between them.
    Apologies for any confusion.

As answered in your Nationwide same query. See page #1.
  • What do folks think?  Is it too late to apply tonight/tomorrow now.  Looks like the switch needs to go through by 2nd December.  In theory 7 working days from tomorrow is OK.

Unsure how long they take to open account after application.

Why does it look like that to you?
  • That's how I interpreted what I read on the guide.  To my mind it reads the switch must be complete by COP 2nd December.

How to get the £130 bonus:

Switch to a new or existing account (existing must be done in branch) by 11.59pm on 2 December 2021, then within 60 days: have 2+ direct debits, pay in £1,000+ and use the mobile app. The bonus will be paid within 90 days of account opening.

Got a link to Santander's words?

This offer applies to requests to switch that we receive on or before 2 December 2021. It can be withdrawn at any time.

Reading that suggests as long as the account is opened and request put in I'll be fine I guess.
