Fair play Ed. Though I agree about Mothering Sunday.5

Hope you enjoyed your first Father’s Day as a daddy of 2, Ed. As a mum to two grown-up boys I am happy to see a day that gives a little nod to all that daddies do for their families. I think the idea that only mothers should have a designated day is very outdated. Life isn’t all nice brunches and steak dinners so enjoy them when they appear, regardless of whether it is ‘traditional’ or not. Most of us love our parents dearly, and show it freely, but a wee special day once a year isn’t too excessive.Enjoy the new coffee machine too! Do a review for us please, once you’ve tried it out.MFIT -T5 #428

Question ref Lloyds, Ed. Did they put a hard search on your credit file? I've had a couple of my bank switches do that recently, despite me not asking for an overdraft?Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

@South_coast - I couldn't tell you I'm afraid, the switching process has been so quick it wouldn't have shown up on any of my credit scoring accounts.I have now joined you in Pr0lific land, beer money awaits! The first survey I took part in was very badly written, I could do better and I only spent a couple of years doing basic customer satisfaction work for a SME. Do you target a minimum hourly rate?5

I think for mine I had hard searches - which is why I waited until after my mortgage had completed.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
