Will probably take that approach when Cat 1 turns 10 and we're liable for 20% of treatment costs 👍🏻

Over here we are no longer insured at all. The cat is an indoors girl and 16 now - already sugffering kidney issues so we have swapped to renal diets (more expensive) but she has stabilised.
Dog's insurance company withdrew cover. We only ever had 3rd party liability and accident cover and the product no longer exists. With any provider. He has a breed condition that means premiums would be awful. We keep him as fit and strong as possible, to protect as much as possible. He is on a vet plan for vaccinations, flea and tick, worms and toenails, plus clearing his glands, if needed (not the supplement for that though). Oh and we try to keep him lean but he is an opportunistic scoffer!

April and May are shaping up to be some of the busiest, spendiest, most disruptive months we have experienced for years 😬
- DD1's Easter craft camp was cancelled
- Both girls are still on holiday, I swear the Easter break is about a month long this year!
- DD2 had a very nasty accident and badly scraped her face. She is healing well but there has been a degree of bribery spend to try and cheer her up/distract her. It has been quite traumatic 😥
- Both girls have birthdays in May
- Bathroom getting replaced in May, staying at a purple hotel for 4 nights
- Going on holiday the week after the bathroom, not paying for the trip but even spending money is a lot. We also bought 3 new suitcases, as the old ones were nackered
Am I churlish for wishing it was June already?
Work is busy but I have earned £90 from surveys since the start of the financial year. £50 of that was Y Live from last financial year, it's just the way the payment fell. My filter remains firmly at £10/hr+ and I'm not sure what target I'll set myself for the year (if any). Maybe earn the Trading Allowance and then see where I stand.5 -
Poor DD2. Hope she feels more like herself soon. ❤️🩹

I need to transfer my cash ISA, any recent recommendations for rate chasers? 🤔

@edinburgher - Natw3st currently have a 4.05% / 4.30% ISA for current clients - I just shifted over money from a regular savings into the ISA which for some reason took 48 hours. Rate holds for 1yr and it is easy access.
