I was able to use virement to bring us back to a surplus of £8,000, which means that I can start making small contributions to the Extension fund again. I really couldn't justify allocating our average holiday spend of c. £800 when I already booked our Christmas break sans funding! 🤣
- £18.59 to Extension.
- £1.08 to Emergency Fund.
- £22.84 withdrawn from Prolific, £11.42 to Tax.
- I'm going to rename "Tax" to "SIPP" in YNAB. Probably a silly little thing, but I'd like to frame the end of the tax year in a more positive way, even if it means tying up money for 15 years 😊
Today will mostly be chilling out, watching the rugby, and a nice big Valentine's dinner. We picked up a big fancy steak (Aldi), some other bits and bobs, and £9.99 champagne. I have overdone it with alcohol over the last couple of days, the plan would be to take a break after today until the end of the month. Not really sure why I am letting myself get carried away, I know that the consequences will be tiredness and headaches. Anyway, I'll get back to better behaviour imminently.
