Used to love Swatch. Like you my first luxury watch. Would have another one if not for I watch for the falls.

It's this one @beanielou
I also scratched my first Swatch as the result of a stumble, granted mine was trying to navigate round a tiny hotel room in London after a gig and several pints 😉

Re new bathroom. Have you thought about splashwall. It is 100 times easier & quicker to clean than tiles.

@badmemory - I don't really think there's any problem cleaning the tiles and I really like them (nice sandy porcelain tiles). Grout is a bit mouldy on the current ones but cleaning the bathroom has historically been a Mrs E task. She is a bit shorter than me and won't apply the welly I will to cleaning them (I apply suncream like I was trying to sand my face off) 😁 I think existing tiles will be fine with a bit of Mr E power, toxic cleaning products and maybe a grout pen. We have a pretty equitable division of labour most of the time but I think I'm going to just have to do this one before the refit, it needs a deep clean, not business as usual. Will obviously frame it as "I'm a wee bit taller, let me give everything a scrub" as opposed to "you lazy monkey" 😝

OOh a swatch watch. I bought one as a teenager (seemed expensive at £20 at the time) and I absolutely loved it. Can't quite remember it now, but it was brightly coloured and had some funky hands. Your one looks lovely, although much more grown up than I remember them :)

Ed, please may you come and scrub my tiles? I too am just a weedy woman, and it's starting to show. I will throw in an overnight (with meal deal) at your choice of two Premier Inns 😀😀😀
(As an aside, and I know you won't be able to get the kids to buy into it, but I've found having a really good squeegee of the tiles after showering stops a lot of the water sitting/dripping on the grout and does have a noticeable impact on the mould - though it is very, very dull 🤣!)

Just catching up 😁
I love the new watch! I got a pop swatch where you could change the colour on the frame and change the bands for my birthday back in the 80s....some horrible girl at school stole it from me though when we had P.E one day ☹️! Didn't get another Swatch till I was an adult. They're so fun though 🤩
