I hope you have a lovely Valentine's dinner ed 😁 And I hoped you enjoyed the rugger - the best team won, no doubt about that. Both teams performed completely differently to last week - and Scotland's win was richly deserved.

Thanks @Greying_Pilgrim - we had a lovely dinner and DD1 was happy to help with the freezer macarons we got from Mr S 😉 We definitely got a deserved win at the rugby, quite a few unforced errors by England and perhaps a little bit of bad luck, too? Still, that's the way these things go, I doubt the England team can feel too aggrieved.
A soggy, grey day here, managed to get back to Couch to 5K this morning (week 3). While I didn't particularly enjoy it, I forced myself to exercise up and got on with it. Other than that, mostly hanging out with the girls, we did the top day out of Pets at Home (see the wee fluffies)/The Food Warehouse (frozen Gregg's sausage rolls and 10p Christmas gravy granules)/The Range (£10 for a 3-year-old's weight in sketchbooks and stickers 😁

What a lovely MSE day out with the girls! I love the Range as an adult, I can well imagine it would be a treasure trove for a 3 year old.

DD2 is a bit under the weather today. She managed to make herself sick from coughing last night (just a small spot on her duvet, we didn't discover it until the morning). She insisted on getting up at 06:30 and has been crabbit and photosensitive since, luckily she fell asleep 25 minutes ago. I am hoping she perks up for a supposed outing with her cousins later on this morning…

I have the fidgets with Prolific, c. £18 earned but not enough balance to withdraw 😕

Went to the bathroom showroom. It all felt a little underwhelming. As we are renovating (as opposed to ripping everything out), we are very much limited to the unit(s) etc. that the bathroom fitter stocks that fit our existing layout and complement our existing tiling etc. It wasn't so much making choices as seeing what will work with what's already there. Mrs E seemed particularly grumpy (despite having offered sweet FA in terms of opinions of what she did want) 😕 Has to be the only scenario in which you can pay nearly £8k to replace the contents of a room and add an extractor fan but still be unimpressed.
I asked Mrs E to remain focused on the bigger plans that we have - extension in 46 months etc., hopefully adding an extended kitchen diner, utility and another shower room/toilet. Neither of us wanted to spend ££,£££ and this works with our budget.
Next step is choosing a date for them to start.8 -
Dinner was random but nice. Crepes with maple syrup, skooshy cream, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, snowman marshmallows and giant chocolate buttons 🤤 Went for a Couch to 5K run afterwards!
£16.75 withdrawn from Prolific, moved to SIPP line in YNAB. Will hopefully be able to pick up some AI studies tomorrow, been a slow week so far what with actually doing work 😁Night all.
