Or use the overtime/survey earnings to pay for it?

At the risk of veering into politics, part of me can't stand the idea of paying more because of the capriciousness of one elected official :# Once again, Americans are proving themselves to be unreliable trading partners. There's also my Scottish nature, which resents being squeezed for something that hasn't changed in quantity or quality 🤷🏻‍♂️

If a settlement can't be reached that offers less than £££ monthly increase I won't give up entirely, Wegovy would be the likely alternative. It's about 2/3 as effective. It's a wrench, however, as I'd need to come off all medicine for at least 4 weeks before changing.

In financial news, a few pence OPed, £2.52 sin tax paid into my SIPP and £7 from personal spends into my S&S dividend pie. Changes coming to the world of SIPPs etc. Hopefully in about 5 week's time.

Wegovy are planning to launch a stronger dose later in the year which should be similar to Mounjarow. We are keeping an eye on it.

Thanks @AgathaSquirrel - I currently have another 4 weeks of Mounjaro - hopefully enough time to see what happens when the dust settles. My existing chemist is only filling orders for existing customers, so that's something 🤞🏻

Could you get a couple of pens from 2 alternative suppliers to keep you going? I see that some people change suppliers every month or so, chasing the best prices
