Oh ed your illness sounds rough - especially when you've others to care for. Fingers crossed it passes over with no more than a fever spike and aches - for both MrsE and you. I suppose in theory at least you can articulate your symptoms and take otc medicine possibly. A little more difficult with littlies.

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026

Temperature back to normal for me, absolutely knackered after a spell between 2-5 where DD2 refused to sleep. Scunnered!
Mrs E seems slightly worse, but at least DD1 went to school (first day this week)
