Feeling a bit better but still very tired. Took girls out for 4 hours (an outlet mall that we had to drive to). Between lunch, a few small toys, chocolate from the overpriced Swiss shop and parking, I got away in the region of £45 lighter, which could have been worse? Home now and unfortunately Mrs E is still pretty rough, hoping for a Father's Day miracle£40.21 OPed.12

I have the bedroom blinds closed all day and created a wind tunnel with windows open on 4 sides so I am ok.. I did nearly boil yesterday ..
Well done on the monies ..DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Nice reminder to dig out the fan, I have no idea where mine is. I opened the window last night and shut feral cat out, she was furious this morning but the bedroom which was up in the 30s was cooler.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!5 -
Oh yes. Awake at 4.37 this morning, I forced myself to stay in bed until just after 5.00 then up, chores done. Bees; 3 colonies done. Honey collected that had a clearer board on (these let the bees out but not back in). Back home and had toast and avocado (sorry!) as quite hungry. Dog now walked and I plan a little watering, weeding and planting in the next 45 minutes. I might just slump then.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
