No financial news for the day but I have absolutely bust my hump tidying!
Spent IRO 3 hours tidying (gutting DD2's room, moving the bed out from the wall and getting all the manky crap from under it, sorting out toys to chuck or donate, hoovering and cleaning wooden floors). I also hoovered and cleaned all the other wooden floors, mopped the kitchen and took out recycling. Now reverse searing a nice Lidl joint of grass fed beef which we'll have with roasties, rainbow chard, green beans, and gravyEdit: After some post-February virement, I've OPed £139.11. c. £700 of servitude I'll not have to do in future12 -
very impressive Feb round upDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I'm a big fan of avoiding future servitude. c£700 sounds good to me for a modest OP.
Astonished by your survey totals for February. I keep telling myself that this reflects that men are the great untapped area for market research, and not retired women; especially this one who is trying not to spend anything some weeks!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

@Suffolk_lass - 90% of the earnings were from tasks as opposed to demographics. AI stuff that I've been patiently toiling at on and off for a few? Years now
I suspect most of AI is built on the backs of recent university graduates and middle aged professionals who correct their more florid writing7 -
Ed, you are not middle aged!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days

@South_coast- I wouldn't be miserable if I lived to 84Accidentally went into an unarranged overdraft this morning because I get paid tomorrow (silly Ed). One minute fix to send my £1500 Chase balance back the way.£4.84 OPed and made 90p on a study, it's early days.
DD1 not well (nausea (luckily not vomiting) and slept very badly), taking a day off. I'm zonked as well as I was up with her at 02:00 giving her a hug and a big bowl. Will try and move forward a few cases at work, probably not going to be a legendarily productive one.
*Edit: Contacted a roofer who replaced our gutters a few years ago. We have a minimal amount of storm damage that still needs resolved as the roof is pretty vital9
