Great advice. I realised in December I was burnt out. A girlfriend asked if I could take some time off and just rest. I started planning things "to do" in the down time and ended up just riding my horse and going to bed and watching stuff on netflix and sleeping. Which is what I would do if i was really ill.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!6 -

Ed, I want to echo everyone else's well wishes.
I too worked in a job that had destroyed me mentally, emotionally, physically. Similar to South Coast, it was redundancy that shoved me out of it. Looking back, I wish I'd been able to take the choice to step back much sooner. It sounds like this is an excellent decision.9 -
