We have returned. The first 2 days were lovely. The following 5 days were overshadowed by major building works taking place next door and stormy weather yesterday, can't be more specific without it being outing, as Mumsnet likes to say Kids were a mix of angelic and quite demanding and Easter/my birthday was not enjoyable. I struggled to relax and am quite glad to be home, to be frank. Holiday was not worth 50+ hours of overtime, perhaps the outcome would have been different if we weren't self-catering.

I've been to the gym today, which helped to get me back on an even keel and while I'm stressed about returning to work on Monday, it's good to be in our own space again.

NW rose in March by c. £18,500, which is a huge result. % FI actually went backwards tho, as spending increased.

Just spent £200 on cat food for the Maine Coon (400 days of dry and 60 of wet) I thought inflation was grinding to a stop?

Sorry the holiday was disappointing. Good you have a couple of days at home before returning to work.

It was indeed expensive @edinburgher.  Worth it though at the time.

I would love a maine coon but maybe not at those prices!
My two rescues cost enough!
