I downgraded, opened a new one and the switch completed yesterday. No bonus incentive paid at all. Looks like I'll have to chase. Just my luck.
Looks like I’m going to have the same problem as I’m on day 3 after the switch completed and no sign of an incentive payment as yet.

If you've not had your incentive and scratching your head 'cos you're sure you qualified, note that if your other half switched into your joint account (since 04/2019) and got an incentive, you'll fail to qualify.

From Lloyds viewpoint you've already had one.

Have you got any further with your application or have you abandoned it

It appears I had an incentive in 2020 so it's my fault for not checking this thoroughly - I just looked at the date the account was opened which was prior to the April 2019 date they quoted. On the plus side, I did make that complaint and they gave me £30 to go away. Slightly annoying that I had to close a current account that I liked and used, but never mind eh.
Might be worth you checking in case you've made the same mistake I did!

Ditto here. Called yesterday and they asked me to wait until today (3 full working days). Still nothing so call today: the department is not open:-(

Yes turns out this is exactly my case too. I’d held my original Lloyds Club since 2017. I did check through to 2019 and had seen no incentive on my accounting records. But having checked through to 2021, I found I had switched my Halifax Reward in to the Lloyds account in 2020 when the Reward stopped, and had received £100 for switching. Not to worry as of the three switches I’m presently doing this was the for the lowest amount.

In an acronym, CBA. Still pondering queering my patch with them again, subbing a complaint.
  • Hello
I've just applied to open a new Club Lloyd's account and applied to switch my current account to get the switching incentive.
However I've noticed the account I'm switching into Lloyd's does not have my middle name on it.
I've opened the Lloyd's account including my middle name.
Will this prevent me from getting the switching incentive?
    Thank you in advance

Probably not, I'd say. Especially if you have given a debit card for the donor.

How long does it take for Lloyds to get back to you after submitting your ID and selfie online? Starting to wish I'd had a shave before taking the selfie!  I applied for a Club Lloyds account (never had a Lloyds account before). Also applied to switch.
    Thank you
