Except don't forget to ask the Judge at the end for your costs, when he/she asks 'anything else?' A lot of people get tongue tied. Just ask for your costs and at the very least, the CPR standard £95 for a day's loss of leave.

This is very typical, and there is a high chance that the next communication is a discontinuance of the claim.

wow @Jenni_D you mean in the Newbies post? I was reading that if they discontinue you need to reply to get your costs. Is that what you were referring to? Thanks for helping out all along the way Jenni_D! Your help has been precious.

...and bookmark the top thread by MSE_JC and set up email alerts for it, so you don't miss joining us to do the final Public Consultation this Summer, to convince the Govt that the money levels in their Code of Practice are absolutely correct, commercially viable and fair (except the madcap £130 London Level and the 'hybrid £100' which nobody called for, and is far too high).

The ticket appeals guide feedback one you mean? So if they discontinue the hearing. What happens then? Do I not get the chance to recoup any costs? Thank you.

Costs are covered in the NEWBIES thread already, including an example where a poster recouped them due to a very late discontinuance. All stages are covered.

As for the top thread, yes but forget the guide, you will find that's not what is being discussed there right now. That's why I signposted you to read it.
