Preparing a Defence for UK Park management

hi I am preparing a defence and happy to take any suggestions on how you went on about doing it? I have 10 days to do it so quite urgent. I already have the template just looking to do section of my defence. Thanks for any help!

Please check and confirm you have given us correct the full name of the parking company.

What happened when you complained to the landowner?

What type of car park was this? (Retail, residential, private, supermarket etcetera.)

What was the reason for the charge? (Overstay, non payment, not between the lines etcetera)

Where did the alleged event occur? The site may have cropped up here before.

Was the NTK PoFa compliant? If not, has the driver been outed?

What was the issue date of the claim form?
Upon what date did you complete the AoS?

We can't help you without a bit more info from you first.

Have you complained to your MP?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    Thanks Fruitcake!

I need to specify also car is leased to me from the Company I work for. I am scouring through the forum but can definitely use some help.

    Here are my answers:

What happened when you complained to the landowner? I did not I missed this step (my bad). Also I used the general response to Appeal not the lease-specific one (my bad twice).

What type of car park was this? (Retail, residential, private, supermarket etcetera.)? Hard to say as it was a parking spot near a restaurant that I had parked in before so I think it's a Private spot. It was taken by UKCPM but I don't remember seeing any way to pay for the parking

What was the reason for the charge? (Overstay, non payment, not between the lines etcetera) non-payment I am not even sure there was a means to pay. Will probably go back there and check.

Where did the alleged event occur? The site may have cropped up here before. Colindale, London.

Was the NTK PoFa compliant? If not, has the driver been outed? it is UKCPM and I was the driver
What was the issue date of the claim form? 9 August 2021
Upon what date did you complete the AoS? I was supposed to do before the 28th August and I did

Thanks for your comment D_P. I did not. MP of where I was fined is different than where I used to live and is different to where I live now. Can complaining to an MP help? If so I guess I need to complain to the one in the area I got fined?

With a Claim Issue Date of 9th August, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 13th September 2021 to file your Defence.

That's nearly two weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Parliamentary protocol dictates that you complain to the MP that represents you.
You can of course suggest to your MP that they forward your commends to the MP in whose constituency the parking event took place - even perhaps cc'ing that MP. I'm sure that MP will want to know what's going on on 'his patch'.

Everybody is who comes here , that paragraph is bespoke in each case , which is why you must adapt paragraphs 2 and 3 !!

The good news is that coupon mad did the other 90% for you , just imagine if there was no template at all. !! Much worse for you 😁😁
