Me please mothernerd - if I'm allowed back for being such a terrible turtle during the pandemic.
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

I must be more committed to myself this month. I am not making progress for me at all at the moment.
Seasons of mellow fruitfulness are upon us.
Although for me September is super stressful. I am intending to continue working in the garden at the weekends so it can be ready for next spring (!)
Exercise should celebrate all the things your body can do,
In August I was doing 10,000 steps a day and this month I am going to do a mile a day exercise video. Stick to my minimum of 5000 steps and 30 active minutes.
Planning ahead is essential.
Need to plan every inch of my time this month. I want to finish the garden and continue with the chucking away. or donating.
Traditionally September was the month for signing up classes
I am continuing with the French (!) And have loads of training from work to do.
Embrace the concept of 'getting there slowly'.
This I need to do.
Mental health and meal planning.
Meal planning is key this month as am back at work and time will be minimal. I am aiming for takeaway once a fortnight, one home cooked meal a week (I am not a cook) and vegetables with every meal.
Budgets
I have 600 pounds, after savings and rent and bills. It should be fine, just depends on the vets.
Extend a hand to those who are struggling.
I do my shopping on a Thursday and will be making donations.
Reassess your goals and habits.
Goal - savings.
habit - endless amazon shopping, expensive pets,
Hmmm.
Nevertheless she persisted.7 -
Setting out my stall before the start of the month for once!
Seasons of mellow fruitfulness are upon us.
The BBQ has not gone away yet - living in hope! Also the 'big' garden table and chairs are still out uncovered - although I think I can probably get away with putting the parasol away now!
Exercise should celebrate all the things your body can do
Aiming for an average of 10k steps/ day - so 300k for the month. Plus my f1tb1t to register min 2x exercise sessions/ week - am simplifying it with the double whammy of a new job and a possible impaired/ frozen shoulder. Also aim to weigh less at month end than start - no figure in mind, but if I weigh less each month at the end on an ongoing basis then all progress will be good!
Planning ahead is essential. Think about the next month but also about the final third of the year
No bdays in Sept - but it is DH's in Oct. Plus would like to start thinking about X day. And DS1 goes back to uni - so that will entail some baking of goodies for him and a smkt shop to start him off
Traditionally September was the month for signing up classes - consider learning something new
I have some training required for my new job - that'll be enough to keep me going this month (and beyond!)
Embrace the concept of 'getting there slowly'. - am also combining with Mental Health
Will have to see how I can balance life/ work with new routines which will affect whole family
Extend a hand to those who are struggling.
DS2 and I volunteer in the local CS and I regularly donate things there. I have a small stash building up ready for any HF food bank requests from school. I have also signed up to join PTA for DS3's school (very poorly supported and needs a total reboot)
Reassess your goals and habits. Make small positive changes consistently (you are more likely to stick with them and succeed).
See above re no weight loss goal other than to weigh less on Sep 30th than on Sept 1st!
Will also revisit goals for the year to see how they are progressing.

Seasons of mellow fruitfulness enjoy the highlights of the coming months – Scrumping and blackberrying and sloeing and pine-cone hunting. I will put a container in my bag, and a container or two in the car for impromptu in-the-hedge activities
Exercise – going to aim for a leaf walk every day that it is not raining. Today it is already raining, but it might not be later.
Planning ahead - got one son leaving home, and one 17th birthday, possible influx of inlaws, a week long online conference for DH – cleared out a cupboard for gifts for ‘that day’ plus 4 birthdays before the end of the year, that I will search for in ‘alternative locations’ – can you gift a roof as a birthday present?
Traditional to learn something new – going to try knitting and crochet and using up a stash – I have not bought fabric in 6 years, so really I should use up the flippin’ stuff I have.
Embrace the concept of 'getting there slowly'. Will contact roofers and builders.
Mental, Health and meal planning. Tick, Tick, Tick.
Budgets – all the bills have gone out, £100 has been shunted to savings, there does not appear to be anything left outside the budget. I will be tight on the budget, hit p/a hard, and see where I can cut costs, still need a duvet and covers and sheets for DS1’s Growing Up Adventures.
Extend a hand – volunteer, dd charity payments,
Reassess your goals and habits – I am in the habit of not contacting roofers and builders. I will change this.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
