I'm sorry my demons have disturbed everyones sleep.. they do get about.. They were less present last night and the pain in my chest has gone.

My sister is dropping of her keys today and I am on cat feeding duty for the next week or 2.. I'm not even sure when she is back tbh.

Hazel managed 7 turds on the hallway carpet and my house smells of wee so it is carpet washing day again.. My carpet is going to be trashed lol.

I have some food bits to put away and the cat trays are revolting again.. considering how much was on the floor how there is so much in the trays I have no idea.

My aims for today..

S&S kitchen

wash carpet

empty 1 box

put away foody bits

brush some girls.. I might wash a few..

vacuum stairs.. they are super fluffy

Round, I hope babs is soon feeling better and Pops remains well.. they all had enough excitement this year1

Iona.. that sounds like a lot of hard work to do somthing so simple!

Sent a message to Step mum saying I'm free if she wants to chat.  Had a strange msg from her yesterday sounds like life getting tricky.  I will listen quietly, she is convinced my life is all roses, I wish, but yes I am a positive optimistic person and married to someone whose moto is "There are only solutions".  

Bank statements printed so now need to be put into my spreadsheets and checked.  I know the solution to this one, less spending in September.  Off to a good start as planning a picnic at sunset on the beach for our wedding anniversary on Friday.

Mademoiselle ~~ sounds lovely just hope you get a sunset, it is cold and over  cast here, not seen the sun for days.

Kitchen is done

Cat took buster collar off again yesterday evening, so I have left it off, Vet said today to take it off, so about 12 hours, I cannot really see the difference, and the cat did as I thought spent t he next 3 hours grooming, then went to sleep! he has been out today, and is now asleep on the bed, normal life for now resumes.

Tax returns started, ie I have now spent about 3 hours gathering information, it is all now added up / deducted from on one sheet of paper, so I am ready for the HMRC forms

Edit:- tax return is now done / submitted / acknowledged!  a large toad gone

ASB your children have gone back to school early the children around here a have at least another week / to week and half off.

Grandkids are on a staged return ie they don't all go back on the same day, GS(2) is off to his senior school, and tell me he is already packed and want to get going next Thursday for him.

Ironing done and popped to shop, had a natter with a couple of friends.  And that's me pretty much done for mow. I'll just walk the dogs before tonight's match.

The children have had a lovely first day back. All the other schools in their trust round here are back as well.

Swimming lessons done, dinner cooked and cleaned up, DW on, WM swishing with swimming stuff. After my rubbish night's sleep I am shattered and will be having an early night. I hope the WAC club stays empty x

Glad they enjoyed their first day back ASB.  Its always a relief when they come back from the first day happy.

Thanks Pigpen.  DS eventually got a negative PCR test result, no idea what is going on but he is still poorly, although has been out of bed this afternoon.  DH and I have done lateral flow tests, also negative, although I still have cold symptoms.  I need to go into work on Thursday and Friday so that's a relief.  

DS worked himself up into a state about being ill and kept interrupting me so I gave up trying to work in the end.

Mademoiselle I love the "only solutions" saying.  I read somewhere that being anxious is only thoughts and feelings, and could just as easily be turned into "I am calm", or "I am happy".  Not always as easy as that, but it helps me to remind myself of that sometimes.

So flying has been minimal here, although some washing has been done and the bathroom and kitchen swished and swiped.  I need to do a full day at the paid stuff tomorrow working from home, so need to get organised for that.

There is a nasty nasty cold doing the rounds, my 2 little grandbeasts have been super poorly and tests were negative too. I hope he is back on his feet soon xxx.

I got the DW done and the kitchen S&S.
I got the stairs and hallway and a little bit of the front room vacuumed.

I got 2 loads though the washing machine.

I put 3 suitcases away and got a bit of floor found inthe girls room..

it's better than nothing but made no difference whatsoever.
