Dad's phoned to tell me not to visit as Barbara is ill and has had a positive LFT. He wasn't well yesterday. They are both having PCR tests. Both are double jabbed. I've asked him to let me know when they get the results and if they need any shopping dropped off.
P & S came for a coffee. I've been to the C00p - with a list. And I've read a few chapters of my book.
Love to you all

Not sure what I said that I would do today, but am sure that I haven’t done it all.
Towels went through the wm and are now hanging indoors in an attempt to dry them. HHI done and bathrooms s&s. Spent some time chatting with DD, and we have booked her chosen treat of posh afternoon tea out. She also wrote the meal plan for the next week for me 😇. Been to the allotment and picked more French beans, a couple of squash, spinach, some carrots and cut some flowers for the house. DH helped by watering the plot as we haven’t had proper rain here for quite a while.
Now I need to sort the veg into some meals and also play freezer tetris. I also ought to do a grocery shop order but not feeling inspired about that.
Pigpen - happy to rummage through my seeds and send some up to you if it helps. I can’t guarantee new packets or much useful, but if it helps, pm me.
Round - I hope dad and Barbara get better soon x10 -
I'm here! I've caught up with Fred and now sitting down on the sofa.
Builder came over for an early start to get a tricky part of the patio done before making inroads this week on the main part. DH has the day off and was pretending he would help builder with patio...I saw through that and got help moving about 100 chickens from the stable to outside, as they are now big enough. Then I got roped into making bacon sandwiches for breakfast for everyone half-way through... well chickens moved now, so that's one job off my list for this week.
I've had a nagging headache for a few days and pretty sure it's due to poor sleep, so I'm hoping for an early night tonight.
Not much actual flying done...typical on a BH for me, if I'm honest.
I'd be inclined not to acknowledge your stepbrother's marriage Kaz. He obviously didn't care that you knew, or were invited, so why care back? I'm personally becoming less tolerant of other people's unkind or "careless" behaviour and am trying to be more assertive myself. I will master the word NO...
Hugs for you and Meem, Pigpen. It will be OK xxx
I'm looking forward to having tea at DH's cousin's in a while. DH and his cuz are taking the small frys for a practice on the driving range, so I get to relax with Cuz's partner and their new puppy!

Piggers I have various packets of salad type leave, if you want them pm your address, I think some may be out of date, but I think they may still grow, get some tubs / old tyres / plastic pots put holes in the base, top soil and plant, get the kids involved, maybe the home schooled child, as part of a biology type lesson.Washing dry off line folded and awayMore food has arrived from NN, so that is dinner sorted, as I really cannot be bothered to cook anything.Just picked 2 cucumbers and 3 'wind' fall toms.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi all
DS has managed to devour a plate full of chicken pie, veg and new potatoes but has a slight temperature and feels shivery, achy and breathless. I am trying to be calm and rational and not check on him every five minutes. It is almost 18 months since he finished his chemo, he has generally been well and is double vaccinated so there is no need to panic.
I have read conflicting info on the internet but I think I should get a PCR test, might work from home tomorrow anyway.
Spent most of the day gardening, it looks so much better. Grocery shopping received and put away. An early night is in order.13
