Filled car up (again) because am taking my friend to the opticians tomorrow...she cannot drive because they're putting drops in, and I though I had better be ready. Popped into mr ms as I needed loo rolls. Finally finished unpacking and have put case away. Two soups in freezer, hoping to freeze more tomorrow. Jam has set beautifully. Bed stripped and remade. Bliss.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning xx (Waves to Jazee)
I'm up and my bed is made. I've had breakfast, got dressed and I'm on my second brew.
It's raining men here again this weekend 🙄 Yesterday they dug a hole in the road outside my house. This morning they have returned to fill the hole. So, to recap, this week it has rained scaffolders, roofers and road digger uppers/ filler inners. I'll be glad to go back to work for some peace and quiet!!!! Not 😉
RoD: I've brought down a piece of cardboard for recycling. It once contained a sim card for a network that I'm no longer with. Every tiny step adds up eventually. I've seen a F1 book that can go to DS and a wall hanging thingy that I'm going to dust and hang - a glassed in poster saying 'Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you' with little birds on it.
Round 1
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
Bring book down for DS
Dust and hang thingy
Coffee
Love to all

Morning all,
I would have posted earlier but its been a busy morning. DD had a sleepover at a friend's last night, she had a lovely time, but has come home smelling of stale cigaratte smoke. It is in her teddies, her hair, her clothing... so needless to say the WM is on and she has been showered.
The first load is on the line, second swishing away. The DW is also on, and I have written a menu plan of sorts for the week.
Thank you to all of you for your support these past few weeks, I cannot tell you the relief I feel that I don't have to attempt to pretend to be okay at work tomorrow. Some decisions will need to be made, but I have the headspace now to do that.
The rubbish and recycling has also been sorted, and the sides wiped down with Dettol spray.
Happy sunday all xx11 -
Up early today, 5am 😃 I am so happy when I get these few hours, before Dave wakes up, to myself.Managed to get a wash load done, said washing hung out, blackberries (all of 5..🙁) picked from the end of the garden and I even cooked a breakfast for myself. That's a miracle in itself.. lolToday I'm not sure what I'm going to do,. I have a friend popping round for some card stuff that I found while clearing out. Going to make a slimming quesadilla for lunch for Dave and myself then watch the F1.I need to do a quick zoom around with the hoover and tidy up. Might put the new curtains up in the living room so they don't keep cluttering up the room. Here's the tea last night which was another new recipe Baked sloppy joes 😃 (not sure how to shrink the photos...sorry)And my cooked brekkie xxxMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

SD(2) is here, we have all walked to the local car boot, worryingly the cat decided to follow us down the road, then vanished into someone's garden, when we came back the cat was near home but hiding in someone else's garden, and he led us all home at the front, he has been in eaten, and now wandered off in to the wild flower garden.Daily stuff doneSD(2) doesn't want anything to eat, she didn't last night either as she doesn't want to put me to any trouble, if I am doing porridge and toast any way, it is no trouble, but I am worried she hasn't eaten since yesterday lunch time.F1 this afternoonMay cut the front lawnMuntjac deer wandering around the garden this morningHave a good day allBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

It turned into a busy morning. All dailies done, hoovered through, dyed my hair and then the local shop had no bread so I drove to nearest town for some. Have also prepped food for the dogs for when they're back tonight and s&sd bathrooms.
Its a lovely day, 21 degrees and sunny, so once lunch is out of the way, I've decided I'm sitting in the garden with a book.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Today I need to sort uniforms for Twinkle.. the others should be fine in the stuff from before summer but I have a huge box to sort through and play dress up to see what fits and what can be put aay for a year or 4 (Pixie is that much bigger!!)
I need to set up Squeaks learning on her laptop after lunch and I going to clear the landing... I am sick of stepping over things..
DS1 complained about the mattress on his bed so I need to replace that and get a new one for Meem and the small double one for the smalls.. I am considering building the bed and just using the manky one we got free with it which we are hoping to take to the tip tomorrow!!
I need to list LOTS to sell so we can afford christmas, I don't need to buy wrapping paper or cards this year so that's one saving.. I also need to sort birthdays for Dot, DS1, Moomin, Tiddles, Meem and Miss Squizz. Anyone up for a selling challenge for the next 3 months?? I need to make decisions on wh is getting what so I can look out of super bargains.. I do NOT like paying full price for anything!

I have completed all of the laundry, the kids trainers are now drying in the sun.
Uniforms have been laid out for morning, and I have made a tray of Yorkshire Puddings and a batch of soup. DD is doing her homework and DS is playing football in the garden. I feel impossibly tired now so will lay down for an hour x12 -
Oooh, everything's all skew whiff on the site now - it feels like I'm trying to read this lopsided.
Anyhow, life has been hectic, I've been juggling one fulltime job whilst trying to learn to do another fulltime job, another halftime job and train somebody in how to do my original fulltime job. It's been ridiculous and I just completely shut down all social media because I couldn't handle a single other thing in my life other than getting through each day.
However, I'm now down to 4 days a week plus agreed extras and whilst people are still trying to get an extra pound of flesh out of me, I can actually see things potentially finally beginning to calm down a bit.
Himself has been off work on half pay since June when malpractice was identified in his workplace and they're really taking their time about the investigations - he's got nothing to worry about in that respect, not that you'd know that from his reaction to being told they were all being investigated because they must have known something shonky was going on, but they aren't exactly falling over themselves to resolve the matter quickly. So he's been rather annoying at times, especially I had to self isolate for the millionth time because some people don't believe Covid exists - I expressed displeasure at him mithering around feeling sorry for himself. He's had a couple of interviews since then but nothing further.
In other, probably totally uninteresting news, I've lost a bit of weight, which means I got less of a lecture from the GP on my yearly visit. I suppose they have to shut up about the risks of cholesterol, blood sugars and the like when the person in front of you is 14 inches narrower than they were last August and their results are either excellent or fractionally borderline. I'm not hugely keen on the melting effect, nor the all-new gluten, lactose and processed sugar free diet (more annoyed that it's clearly a good idea and has eliminated symptoms I hadn't even realised were so bad as I'd had them all my life) but at least I can wear some smarter clothes for the fancy pants new job; if I can find things in the shops that aren't florals, frills, pouffs and puffs or wretched animal print, that, is.
I hope everybody's doing well.
The house is of course, an utter midden and I STILL DON'T HAVE MY NEW DISHWASHER because of the reduced pay business. The moment he's bringing in a fulltime wage, I'm ordering one.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll13
