I am up & dressed in running gear - parkrun #99 this morning! 
DD2 is moving out today!! Well, I say moving out....her bedroom furniture is moving out, so she will be sleeping at the the flat. Her room is full to the brim with dismantled furniture, bin bags & boxes. She has informed us that it won't all be going with her....wait! What??!!! I will give her some time to sort some plastic boxes for the loft, but it can't stay here!! 

This afternoon, when DH has finished work, we need to drive to the city to go suit shopping. It is 4 weeks today until the wedding. If I left it up to them they would be getting them the week before!! We need to allow a bit of time in case they need to be ordered.

My bed is made and first brew has been savoured. Trying to shake off the shadow of a bad dream - those shades linger longer when the sun is hiding. Day after day we have had cloud, cloud, cloud. No raining. Just grey. And still. As though the world is waiting for something to happen.....

Brew 2, breakfast, get dressed, then I need to have a 'must do something' Saturday. 

What's your favourite Abba song? Mine is 'When I kissed the teacher'.

Morning all,

Hugs and get well soon vibes to all and anyone, especially ASB, YL,  Narc0 and Narc0’s mum.

Another busy work day yesterday, but not all bad. Zero flying though.  The house is looking distinctly grubby and even more neglected than usual. My cba-ness is showing through. DH is grating on me (what’s new 🤣), not helping himself by going to the allotment yesterday and picking my carefully tended (ok, that is an exaggeration) winter squash, thinking they were courgettes! Different colour AND shape, but apparently that was not a giveaway.

I need to sort out some washing. The sun is pushing through here, rain is desperately needed for the garden. Suppose I ought to get dressed too…

Round - well, Slipping Through My Fingers makes me blub without fail, Why Did It Have To Be Me is good for belting out in the car, and King Kong Song makes me ask Why?! But it makes me smile…

Round, I had never heard that before so you've just sent me all over the internet finding out who the actor was etc.  The song will now be an earworm all day.  My favourite is Mamma Mia.

Sofa covers changed as the dogs aren't here and dailies done.  Also been messaging MIL who has been in hospital two weeks with no visitors allowed.

SS(2) has already left, he is off to play football, and maybe see his kids if the ex gets her act together

WM done, out on line, send the sun this way, as it is sort of trying to drizzle.

OH's work has sent him a new laptop, err he is now off long term sick, so why? he is currently fiddling around with it, so I guess that will keep him busy for a bit.

Other general stuff done, I seem to spend so time each day, sweeping up flies / wasps / other flying beasties that have died in the conservation, they fly in as I like the doors open.

SD(2) arrives sometime tonight about 7pm to see OH, then I think she is off by about 10am on Sunday.

I've brought down the laundry hamper....it's a start 🙂 

I've also 'retrieved' several price tags, a book mark, an empty carrier bag, and a 2003 Man Utd calendar from the RoD. 

Book mark and carrier bag will be used, tags and calendar will be recycled. I emptied the ottoman one item at a time,  I can do the same with the RoD.

Round 1
Feed the birds 
Refill the bird bath 
Put out the rubbish and recycling 
Sort laundry into loads
Set first load swishing
Sort vase of flowers

That'll do for starters

Morning all

Thank you for the well wishes. I think I’ve been running on adrenaline for so long, and worrying about going back to work, my body has now crashed and is telling me it’s okay to rest.

To that end, we are all still in PJs and no plans to go anywhere. Lovely friend dropping us some food bits off in exchange for some eggs and corguettes.

I have pegged the washing out, set the DW going and fed everyone their brekkie. I’ve had two brews and two biccies. Love to all xx

Round 1 completed + I hoovered where shoe rack lives before putting the shoe rack back and I've emptied the hoover.

Kaz, I also like the door open.  We bought a magnetic fly curtain last year and it's still up and doing a great job at keeping insects out.

Have started to read the paper, got distracted by a scone recipe so have made some and just had one buttered with a cuppa. Delicious.  Cheese with chilli from the garden.
